I go the the Guillaume in Hannam-Dong. Each time I walk in, I'm greeted by the comforting smells of a true boulangerie, and anticipate the treats yet to come. Only in Korea would it seem reasonable to spend the same amount of money for bread and pastries that one would in a restaurant for dinner - but truthfully, I could... More

We haven't tried their bread but the pastry is one of the best we have had in Seoul. Crispy and not greasy. The coffee is nothing to brag about but we will definetely go back for that chausson aux carottes. Staff speaks good English and the café is cosy. There's outdoor seating as well. Prices are slightly above the average.

I ate their baguette, I ate the food they sell inside the bakery (spaghetti...), and I can say there are many other places making better bread. The only thing in their menu which is a little bit French is the onion soup. The Paris Croissant inside the French Village (Soerae Maeul) in Seoul is the best French Bakery I have... More

Went in with several friends to try their food and it was great. Fresh salad with yummy dressings, great and rich pastas and an amazing steak cooked just right. And to top it off, the dessert was just amazing! I forgot the name but it was like a mousse type. Simply delicious. The ambiance was also great, casual but chic... More

Probably one of the best places to get some bread or patisserie. This beats most boulangeries in France, so by Seoul standards this place stands out in a league of its own! Have yet to try the restaurant for dinner but breakfast and brunch is a must if you want to treat yourself to a bit of french goodness! They... More

Staying in Apgujeong / Cheongdam

Neighbourhood Profile
Apgujeong / Cheongdam
Aside from Sinsa / Garosugil, no other area in Seoul connotes the words “luxury” and “fancy” like Apgujeong and Cheongdam. Global luxury brands have set up their flagship stores here, catering to the neighbourhood's mostly affluent residents. It’s also one of the top areas in Korea (some say the world) for cosmetic surgery, attracting hundreds of thousands each year for a little nip or tuck. The other parts of Apgujeong and Cheongdam are mostly lavish residential buildings for some of Seoul’s most affluent alongside extravagant restaurants, bars, spas, and other spots for indulgence. And Cheongdam has long been a bastion for flashy clubs and parties, though in recent years, Itaewon has emerged as a strong challenger to those claims.
