After a long walk along the street we just come in and try out. It is a cozy café up the sidewalk with view to the street. Nothing special but ok for a drink and cakes.

This cafe is perched on the hill slope in Samcheong-dong and offers great views of the street below. Coffees are served in double-insulated paper cups, each one beautifully illustrated. There’s a big menu of hot and cold drinks, as well as a selection of cafe food like cakes and waffles. Try to get a window seat for people watching. It’s not wheelchair accessible because you need to climb some steps before reaching the main entrance.

The patbingsu (팥빙수) was a perfect amount of sweetness. The view from the terrace is so beautiful! I will definitely return next time I’m in Seoul.

The place is cozy but the attitude of the barista is terribly arrogant. Not coming here anymore and will certaintly not recommend to anyone until they learn how to be more humble.

The barista totally ruined my holiday mood on the New Year day, he was rude and giving long face to every visitor. Not recommending to others seriously.

If you happen to walk on to the winding road of Samcheong after a visit to the palace, you can stop by this cafe for an indulgence of waffles and ice cream! Though they are generous with the 3 scopes of ice cream, the waffles can be improved, seems over baked. Quite crowded cafe with views overlooking the busy street. This cafe also has a roof top terrace, steps are steep though, just be careful when you are carrying your coffee and desserts. :-)

Stopped here for quick coffee and we were pleasantly surprised with their maple cinnamon latte which was rich and delicious. However we were disappointed that their waffle tasted like dry Danish puff pastry surrounded by a mountain of cholesterol rich cream. Unfortunately the maple syrup that came with it did not soak into it to soften the dry waffle. The waitress spoke perfect English and was fairly knowledgeable of the menu compsits. No one apologized for the dry waffle which was left uneaten in the plate.

Decided on this café to take a short rest after walking around the dong for 2 hours. Had a hot cafe latte, a matcha frappuccino and a tiramisu cake. All was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. Décor was a bit bland so we thought there could be more value for the price.

Found this cosy cafe while strolled along the Bukchon Hanok Village in early February. They happened to serve wide varieties of strawberries themed drinks. I enjoy the hot strawberries with cinnamon tea which tasted like mulled wine. The rooftop offers a beautiful mountain view. Try to get a seat at the rooftop if you could tolerate the cold weather. However the stairs to the rooftop is rather steep not advisable for elderly.

Was here in the afternoon(Dec 2015) after havin' walked Insadong & the best part of Samcheongdong. Nearest subway is Anguk station. Walk to front entrance to Insadong & cross the road leading to Samcheongdong where many interesting shops align both sides of street selling lots of stuff. Ordered 2 sets of beef sandwiches, Belgium waffles and coffee & hot chocolate. I would say the prices were a little on the high side though you get rewarded with excellent beef sandwiches & the waffles were very good too. Nice ambience & believe me, a very cozy restroom. Overall, I would recommend for those who seek to relax & chill or maybe for those who wish to sample their beef sandwiches to seek this place out ... it's worth a try!.
