Walking through the market is not an exciting experience. Not much to see or buy. However, stopping for lunch at Naguib Mahfouz Cafe is certainly worthwhile. Pick three or four small dishes and some tea and you cannot miss having a great meal. Price is...More

We were steered to this place by our tour operator. Turned out to be a good referral. Located in the Cairo bazaar, it has a convivial atmosphere, efficient service, and a wide menu with generous portions. I found the prices to be reasonable.

It is a very chic coffee shop clean and safe for tourists. Very quite after hustle and bustle of the souk. It's inside and the service is efficient and friendly.

My wife and I had full lunch - a main course each, salad and a drink (non-alcoholic) each for about 400 LE, all taxes included. This would give you a fair idea. I would say that 800 LE is a safe bet for 4 people. Regards.
