From the moment we entered I could tell we would have a great evening. For starters we had prawn tempuras, platter of sushi and Salomon and tuna sashimi every thing was perfectly presented. For mains I had Red Snapper with avocado sauce the Snapper was done superbly the sauce out of this world. I was taken by the whole experience

We went to this place for a birthday celebration and were not disappointed. It was fairly quiet mid-week and the service was very good. We had set meals and there was a lot of food. It was good to get a selection of courses with different items. Everything was delicious. We drank Saki which went well with the food.

I'd have said that this was excellent but it was sadly let down by the fact that the tuna sashimi was frozen in the middle. I don't know if it was frozen originally or just their fridge was too cold. I sent it back and it returned still frosty. Salmon was perfect. Chicken tepenyaki was delicious and service was acceptable.... More

I decided to surprise my husband on his birthday since he had indicated he likes Japanese food. Watching the food being cooked at our table by the very efficient chef was the best part of the evening. The food portions were large...come with a big appetite!

Lovely restaurant. As soon as you walk in the door you begin a journey into Japanese cuisine. You feel transported to another realm. The food is great and the service to match. Agadashi Tufu, Salmon Sashimi and the tempura are my top three dishes. Only issue is that it's on Ngong road and it's a little awkward to get to... More

Tepanyaki experience is excellent. They do not have a very good non alcoholic selection of drinks. This is one of the areas they should work on

Come here weekly. The kids insist!! They have the best prawns tempura we have eaten, always fresh and crispy. Their sushi are amongst the freshest in Nairobi, we just love it. The kids love the chicken teriyaki. I highly recommend a visit if you love Japanese food.

This is, by far, the best Japanese Restaurant in Nairobi. The food is fresh and absolutely divine. Prawns Tempura and the Salmon Sushi and Sashimi are my favourites though other excellent dishes as Futamaki rolls, Korean Sushi amongst others. A truly awesome restaurant!

We went to Misono on a couple occasions and found it had good sushi. However, the quality of the fish was very hit and miss, and food service VERY slow. We now prefer Tokyo Japanese in Lavington for food and atmosphere.
