I had a hard time looking for the English name of this restaurant here at TripAdvisor as its business card contained only Chinese characters*. Had to check and double-check photos lest I give a wrong review to the wrong restaurant. Anyway... My family enjoyed our lunch of Peking Duck, lamb, marinated soybeans and an appetizer combination of duck liver, tongue,... More

I enjoyed this restaurant. It was close to my hotel and I had read good reviews so I wanted to try it. It has a nice atmosphere. When I first arrived (around 5:30pm) it was pretty much empty, but it filled up while I was there. The service was a bit lacking but I think that is because my waiter... More

I was taken here for dinner by my work colleagues. It was brilliant. We had a room upstairs and my colleagues had ordered the food before I arrived. This was great as we did not have to wait long. I tried several other dishes including duck liver and kungpo chicken. All the dishes were delicious. The service was excellent and... More

I checked trip advisor to see what good restaurants there were close to my hotel (Holiday Inn Express Miinzuyuan) and this this restaurant popped up. It was literally a 5-10minute walk through the Mall China Town which closes at 10.00pm btw.... More

The food and service was wonderful at Duck King. Our dinner party had several dishes including the Peking Duck, Strawberry Pork, and Kung Pau Chicken. We also added a few vegetable dishes and beer and we have a fantastic time. Dinner for 4 came to around 400RMB which seemed very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and beverages... Boss treated us to Peking Duck here. Nearby is Holiday Inn Express Minzuyuan. Besides Peking Duck, we ordered a couple of other dishes such as braised pork knuckles, beef on hotplate, pork ribs with corn, and some vege. Drinks were the sour plum juice and Yanjing beer. Remember to tell the waitress, "Less oil, less salt". The de-facto order phrase... More

Crispy melts in your mouth duck skin, juicy meat. Condiments and pancakes excellent, makes for a delicious bite. After the duck was cut in front of you, you can choose to have the remaining bones and meat cooked into another dish. We had the pepper and salt 椒盐 it was delicious too. Besides the duck, the most memorable dish was... More
