One of my most favorite places for dinner in Beijing. Amazing rooftop overlooking houtongs. Great for sunsets. Delicious meal. Their mushrooms are my most favorite. Great choice of beer and drinks. Friendly staff. Very affordable prices Definitely recommended

I bring my brother that were visiting me in China to this Chinese restaurant. All dishes are good and the terrace in the Hutong is unique. You are very near to a touristic place but it's so quiet!

Tucked away from the often crazy busy Houhai this place, with its very well stocked beer bar and roof terrace, is a nice place to chill. The food options seem to have been limited as of late to only bbq snacks and a limited Yunnan menu. Still good value and tasty for a small bite, but not as good as... More

We visited in March and the place was rather empty. The heating system wasn't on and they didn't light a fire in their wood burner, so it was quite cold. The duck rolls I ordered were really disappointing: duck and rice pancakes were cold, somehow chewy and served without any sauce.

We really enjoyed our meal here. We sat on the rooftop terrace which had a lovely view at night. I was particularly impressed with their veggie options and they had a good selection of beer too. Service was ok, no problems, but if you like Yunnan cuisine this is a great place to go!

After veering off slightly away from the noisy lake restaurants, we found ourselves guided by a sign advertising beer. My expectations were really blown away to find that this place not only had a very respectable selection of imported craft brews, but that it served seasonal, organic, Yunnan cuisine on a lovely rooftop! We got the fried spring rolls (with... More

This is a really nice restaurant with a great roof terrace - perfect on a summer's day. The food is great and the atmosphere is very casual and relaxed. We loved the Yunnanese food, especially the cheese dishes. The decor of the restaurant is whimsical and relaxed. A great place to go if you're in the neighbourhood.

We had visited Tsinghua University and stopped at No Name restaurant for lunch. It is very popular with the students. Our meal was tasty! We had the spicy potato silk, which is shredded potato fried with chili sauce. It was actually quite mild. And we had stir fried green beans which were tossed with hua jiao peppers and tons of... We ate on the rooftop on two occasions. The food was excellent on both occasions, as was the ambience. We would certainly eat there again.

This 3 floor restaurant is located in one of the hutongs around Hou Hai lake, the third floor is a roof garden, where it is relaxed sitting, in the evening with a great view over the bright lighted city. Nice friendly staf, exellent food and good choice. They do not bother you if you just sit and talk, we like... More
