Visited with a friend before having to go to the airport. We both had a great piece of meet with delicous sides. To go with it we enjoyed some wine and the great service of the staff. All very quick and helpful. The restaurant is naturally very centrally placed, I am sure I will visit again and will look forward... More

The place is very nice and food was average good. The best of the place is its service. Waiters were attentive and kind. We even left a cell phone there and they saved for us.

Food was very good and tasty. The set menu caught our eye when passing and proved to be a good choice. Good wine list too. We also stopped by on another occasion for a drink late afternoon - on both occasions we enjoyed our visit. p.s. set menus would appear to be the better choice wherever you are in Hong... More

I have been visiting Wagyu for 8 years now and getting ready to have my second big event there. The atmosphere that Brian, Nick, Marco,Sammy and the team create there makes it a very special place. Always greeted with a smile, always happy to give you their time, great food regardless of whether it's brunch, business lunch or dinner with... More

We were here to try their breakfast. One of us ordered the Wagyu breakfast (about HKD 140, the tomato taste a bit sour so as the sausage so I can't finish it, the mushroom was very tasty eventhough a little salty, eggs are fine), Egg Benedicts (HKD 95, again the tomato also tastes a little funny and the rest a... We went for breakfast one time. A very large open place for Hong Kong standards. You definitely won't go leaving the place hungry if you order to big breakfast! It's probably where you want to go after a big night in LKF!

Place is not far from central metro station. The menu is rich and international. Wagyu-US-NZ is a great meat choice. Starters are a must. Service good, prices "cheap" considering we are in HK. Will be back for some new experience.

Went the other night to Wagyu with a client and was extremely disappointed. I had done my research and despite reading about how terrible the service was I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. I couldn't have been more wrong, it took forever to order drinks, even longer to receive them. The entire meal was spent fighting... More

Spent our last night in Hong Kong at Wagyu. Reviews are correct; good food but service was well below average in the dining room. Sat in the bar and had good service including complementary snacks. Moved to the dining room and staff were unorganized and unfriendly. One gentleman from Australia was trying to be attentive but other staff was disorganized... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
