I was looking for a place to have a breakfast. This one opens quite early at 8.00 a.m. Took recommended steamed eggs and eggs with sausages. The egg was common and tasty. Didn't like sausages and steamed eggs. They were a bit weird to me. But thank for quick snack

My favorite was the ginger pudding and did not disappoint. Service was good, but as with most old chinese restaurants the cashier has the most sour of faces.

Stopped by this little shop in Causeway Bay to try out the steamed milk, ordered the original & ginger flavoured to try out. Very unique! It's just like really hot milk steamed into a real soft pudding (almost), yummy and warming for the tummy. Be prepared to pay HKD15 per pax as service charge if you do not order 1... More

Always like their steam milk. The place is always crowded but one get to sit, order, eat and leave. Guess that's the culture Of most cafes in HK. One probably don't expect good and friendly service but it doesn't bother me as I'm there for consistent good desserts

Visited the branch at Causeway Bay. Was told by the staff that each patron who is seated in the reataurant has to order a serving of milk pudding or pay 15HKD if they are not ordering anything. In the end, my family of 4 ordered 2 servings to go. Each serving was around 35HKD - a price you can have... More

I discovered Yee Shun when I went to Macau for the very first time over 10 years ago. Now that they have branches in HK, I make sure to enjoy this exquisite dessert (double skin milk) multiple times during each visit. I've taken my husband, his parents as well my parents here. I've also recommended this place to many others... More

Went there in the morning for breakfast, already queue was outside. The main thing is decide what you want to eat before and don't hesitate when ordering, try not to give special needs like less sugar or less cream to your tea or coffee, the staff are not to be trifled with. The breakfast set is big, for ladies who... More

Many times in HK but only recently tried it out. They have many flavor, steam or drink milk style also have snacks like sandwich and else. This small diner have 14tables that can fit 4 person and 1 table for 2. Considering it as a snack stand, so people come and go pretty fast. As you walk in and sit,... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
