Went there in March. The staff threatened to kick me out for taking a few photos. I was surprised by how basic and overpriced the breakfast was. Honestly, I can cook better breakfast than them. Never Again! I’d rather donate my money than paying to...More

Dropped by Mido as it was near our hotel... we got a toasted ham & cheese sandwich + a condensed milk cheese toast with hot tea. Everything about the meal was average. The restaurant is clean and the staff are alright (not rude, but not...More

I made the fatal mistake of sharing two dishes with my business associate for lunch. Each bowl of rice cost $18. The food was nothing special, you could say localised but it was not great. The service was short tempered and I felt like being...More

My 2nd time here. In comparison to other cafes of similar stature, food is on the pricier side and not as delicious as well. Had the baked rice with pork chops, sauce tasted like it was made of just ketchup and thickened with corn starch....More

I only come to Mido Cafe for two things: their French Toast and their Almond Milk. The French Toast is one of the best I've had in Hong Kong and the Almond Milk brings me to my happy place. I've tried their other dishes and...More

Food was quite good but really expensive. Drinks tasted like water... really really diluted tasteless drinks. Service could be better.

The food is awful. This restaurant is known as an old cafe with history, but the food is really bad. Avoid going there again. Expensive price for some badly cooked food.

Since friends say must visit Mido Cafe, so I did. It is definitely not worth a visit. It's as if we owed them something as the staff is so so rude. Won't come here and won't recommend to anyone at all!!

It was a famous cafe but we would not recommend it to anyone who would like decent food and service. It is true that the old school interior decoration of the place was nice but that was it. The food was terrible and overpriced. The...More

Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you
will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong
Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong
Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma
Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on
their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area
makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in
time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the
