This place has good Indian cuisine. Although ambience is not that good but food is quite decent. Rates are OK

A good option for cheap, vegetarian eats in Tsim Sha Tsui. The dosa are particularly good and a decent meal if you get the potato masala filling

Once you are here, you know you will get the best Indian Veg Food, the aroma takes you back home to the Indian Restaurants. Very centrally located. Must try - when you miss indian food and are tired of eating Chinese food. With just a little time, we enjoyed ordering just one dish and it was hit all the way,... More

We had two meals at Branto and both were extremely good. Kind staff, swift service, will make things off the menu (especially for kids) and although being super busy all the time, they do a great job of making you feel happy and welcome. A bit hard to find the first time round (it is just a 5 minute walk... More

I ate a lunch meal here recently. The food was absolutely average. Especially the "Baturas" and "Purees" seemed old, reheated and full of oil. I highly recommend to give this place a miss. Positives - Polite waiters, Not too expensive.

This is not a fancy restaurant but overall the food is good. Its a vegetarian restaurant so good for Indian crowd who wants no frill veg food. We all liked the food all days. You get fried momos there which is a plus and chat options too. Easily accessible at Tshim tsa tshui MTR station. I think exit F was... More

A westerner, I went dinner with 2 others of Indian heritage. We were all gravely disappointed. Surly, disinterested and super slow service - on a quiet Monday night. Bland and cold food, I know it seems impossible given the menu descriptions and size of the restaurant. If your food is great, you can get away with poor service. If your... More

Unassuming place. Crowded and hot. But once the food arrives, all is forgiven. Possibly the best Daal I've ever had. The Palek Paneer is over the top delicious! This is my "Must Go" every time I'm in Kowloon from now on.

Tucked away behind an unmarked door, old stairwell hides a very basic Indian vegetarian restaurant. Don't be mislead, the food is lovely and comes out quickly. Fresh and tasty. Dosa is a favourite, Biryani is good, Gujrati Thali was nice.

If a restaurant has to bring diners the ambience of home then Branto does a perfect job. India may well have progressed but you while you make take the Indian out of India, you can't take India out of the Indian. Like most Indian lower to middle class homes, Branto is no Ritz. The inconspicuous door on Lock Street opens... More
