What is there to say about Tim Ho Wan? They were one of the first dim sum restaurants to obtain truly international recognition. Their take on traditional dim sum, such as the char sui bao which is my favorite is great. Just a little twist that sets it apart. The fame and the big crowds that came with it did... More

Before I visited the restaurant I wasn't a lover of Yum Cha, but a friend of mine twisted my arm to accompany him for a meal, the atmosphere is bussing, the place is full and had to wait for around 10 minutes to get a table for the four of us. I'm hooked, the food is unbelievable and very reasonably... More

Our lady day we wNted to get star ferry and decided to get quick lunch. It took some finding since in Hong Kong city train station shopping mall but you could see the people queuing. Fortunately we got help from a local who explained the process otherwise we would have been lost. Upon arrival you get a form to complete... More

Hi, we went to the location in North Point. A quite unassuming restaurant, local in feel. If you want a fancy place, go elsewhere. But the dim sum were fabulous. They are made to order, and are the best I've ever had anywhere. A great local experience. Note that little English is spoken, and that's part of the fun. Also... More

Definitely get the stuffed peppers!! Spicy and delicious! The dishes are just big enough for a family of 5 to have a taste; which is great because you get to try lots of stuff!!

This location is better located for tourists, but if want est Tim Ho Wan can offer, go to north side. A little hard to find but worth the effort. Get there by 11am or you could wait a while

I was attracted because this restaurant won a Michelin star. I love their pan fried carrot cake. other than that its famous baked bun with BBQ pork and vermicelli roll are which you can't miss as well. Reasonable Price! If you visit the branch located in Olympic city, you might have difficulty to find it. This shopping mall is where... More

Tried the dim sum here but was disappointed. Only their Baked Roast Pork bun gets my thumbs up approval. Other items were rather bland & tasteless. Like as though I was put on a low-salt meal. Though it boasts having a Michelin Star for this branch, I felt let down. Price was cheap though. We ordered 8 items & the... More

Although other than their famous pork buns, there is really nothing special about their other dim sum. I gave it a 4 star because it is really cheap by HK standard. The other dim sum although nothing special is not bad either. Even much cheaper than the one in my hometown Kuala Lumpur. Ordered 11 sets at only HKD 231... More
