This became our ‘local’ whilst visiting Hong Kong for a week. Returned three times for dinner as we thoroughly enjoyed the vibe and menu choices. Apart from the delicious variety offered for the main meals, the rhubarb crumble with custard dessert got us every time....More

We had a brunch & an evening snack here twice this trip. Its located right next to the escalator near the top & often has expats with dogs enjoying the evening. The brunch eggs Benedict were very nice but the cappuccino was not great.

The Phoenix Bar & Kitchen is a hidden gem of a pub near the top of the mid-level escalator that serves good pub fare and a decent beer or wine. Frequented by many ex-pats in the area.

Great little pub on the escalators. Happy hour starts at 3pm and this is what brought me in. It gets packed with the after work crowd with people spilling out onto the walkway. Everyone seems to know each other and it has a great neighbourhood...More

I've lived near The Phoenix since it opened, and visited quite a few times years ago when it had a great reputation for food and was a no corkage BYOB place. Time moves on, it's been under new management (and partial ownership of the Enoteca...More

Twenty years old and still going strong The Phoenix is one of Hong Kong’s longest established pubs. A wonderful mid-levels watering hole with a fare selection of draught and bottled craft beers and an extremely tasty gastro pub menu to suit. Whether it’s a last drink on the way home from work up the escalator, a social hang out with mates, dinner with friends or a full weekend brunch with the family, The Phoenix offers a warm and friendly’ neigbourhood’ environment away from the hub-bub of the city and continues as a HK favourite.
