Access is thru a small lift to 2F, and find yourself in a large buoyant room packed with small tables. Staff ladies - grandmas- circulate with their dim sums charriots in the crowded place. Staff will assign you a table - to be shared- and your dim sum experience will be fully fulfilled. Good place to test your chinese speaking... More

push cart dim sum. Plenty of local senior citizens were there having their morning tea. Sharing of tables is the norm. Good dim sum items which are unique and tasty. For a good sense of traditional Hong Kong dim sum please patronise this location

We dined at this restaurant in November 2016. To be sure we ate dinner, and maybe the Dim Sum would be better, but we would not know. I can only speak based on our actual experience. The food is ok but nothing special. We ordered the Cantonese barbecue chicken or whatever, but this does not seem or taste any different... More

Old world family style restaurant. Furniture is a throw back to the 60's and 70's. Long queue and this is a testament for the quality of food. Reasonably priced. Come teary and be a patient if you still have to wait. The food is worth the wait. Two minutes walk from Ibis Hotel Central & Shen Wan. Make the effort... More

We had lunch here with Jess, our awesome tour guide from Hello Hong Kong. It was great. It was a very local place, located on more than one floor. A bit difficult to find as we had to take an elevator in the back of a store front up to it. We seemed to be the only non-local people there.... More

The best time to visit is during lunch time. Prepare to be seated in shared tables since the place is very crowded. If you are a tourist it's good to know that it's a normal thing in HK to share your table, so don't be scared. Things to try: anything. Keep in mind that some of the dishes have pretty... More

Ugly cold diner with mediocre dim sum. More expensive than expected. Our hotel was basically next door so we expected that we might have all our breakfasts there. Out of the question to return! We wanted a very traditional experience with the aunties and their trolleys bringing food around, and from that stand point it did not disappoint, but after... More

Must visit place for experiencing dimsums. Located in sheung Wang but tucked away in a corner. It is not necessary to know Cantonese since we found the people sharing the table were extremely helpful.

Amazingly, being a local, this was the first time I had visited Lin Heung. The reason I finally decided to go was my raised curiosity after my ex-pat friends told me the great experience they had there. I was going to give my review a 2 at best, when I realized I was not being open minded and not thinking... More

Staying in Sheung Wan

Neighbourhood Profile
Sheung Wan
Unlike most of Hong Kong’s other popular districts, Sheung Wan welcomes wanderers with an easy-going, relaxed atmosphere. Art galleries are plentiful and boutique cafés are tucked away in every side street in the sub district known as “PoHo.” Browse through the vintage clothing and handmade leather goods stores – it’s no surprise fashionistas flock to this area. History enthusiasts will be rewarded with sites of beautiful architecture, reflecting Sheung Wan’s past as one of the earliest settlements by British forces. As night falls, the entertainment scene reveals itself to be just as laid back with its private kitchens, speakeasies and underground bars dotted throughout the area. When in Sheung Wan, everyday feels like the weekend.
