We have enjoyed truly excellent food in a group of 7 with good service in a representative atmosphere. I have lived in and travelled to Asia since 20 years and One Harbour Road definitely belongs to the better ones. However I do not recommend a visit as a private person, it is a business restaurant mainly for price reasons and... More

A very nice lunch with stunning views, as expected very fresh but well prepared dim sum, also had a good bowl of congee. Have eaten here a few times before, only a 4 as I thought I've had better at Summer Palace, Dynasty and many others. Pork buns the best !

A window table overlooking Victoria Harbor with the unbelievable dim sum served at One Harbour is an experience you will never forget. Right from the beginning, we were impressed with the beautiful linens and china service. Delicious wine, tea, and the most amazing food transported us. I am so happy to share a real happy experience. I have not been to One Harbour Road for a long time and I had lunch today Sunday 5th of February. Dennis Lam, the Manager and his team welcomed my guest and I so nicely; we felt really so much home. The food was outstanding, maybe one of the best... More

Went here for dinner by chance since I was not feeling well but didn't want room service. This turned out to be the best dinner my husband and I had while in HK. First the service was great, having a seafood allergy makes it SO hard to order in Asia but the staff and kitchen were very accommodating and changed... More

Our family had a habit of going to One Harbour Road for lunch on Chinese New Year Day as most independent Chinese restaurants are closed in the territory, leaving hotel restaurants a safe bet. We enjoy this restaurant as service has improved the past few years and that tables are well spread, not too packed, giving diners privacy. Despite the... More

First visit here was "very good" because the service was fragmentary - i.e. things starters arrived after mains and some things took forever. But the second visit was a vast improvement with the desired harbour view table, great tasting food and good service that pleased even our "hard to please" guests. The food is Chinese, but with a twist that... More

We had lunch at the One Harbour Road. I had stir fried vegetables and mushrooms and I had an aubergine that was very nice, a bit spicy but nice! Other times I tried dim sum and other veggie dishes and it was all nice. I don't know authentic Chinese cuisine so it was a pleasure to try all the different... More

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
