Le Souk is one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in HK. It is run by 2 brothers who own 2 more Egyptian/Middle Eastern restaurans in the same vicinity. However, Le Souk is my favourite of all three. The food is dilicious, the service is very good and the Middle Eastern music and ambience give an authentic experience. They serve... More

We decided to go all vegetarian last Saturday and Le Souk has plentiful of options. All of us enjoyed all dishes equally and will certainly come back again to try more dishes.

We visited Le Souk recently and had a really good meal. Great menu with lots of choice for vegetarians. Service is good too, and prompt. It was busy on a Wednesday night and so is clearly popular.

I wanted to try someplace different in Hong Kong and Le Souk provided that. Very attentive staff, well presented food, and my order was out in less than 15min. Definitely recommend if you want to try Moroccan dishes!

Reserved a table for a birthday celebration. This was our first time there. Food & staff were a delight. Food portions could be slightly bigger e.g. salad. A gem in Central.

Located just next to the escalators on Staunton Street, SoHo. Le Souk is sister to the famous Sahara restaurant. This place is always good, been here since the opening and always see familiar faces because this place is that good. Good food, good atmosphere, great for couples, families and friends. Owners are always upbeat and make sure to greet and... More

This is a very good small Morroccan restaurant and is situated very near the mid levels escalator, which is how we found it. They have a good wine list too. I had the kofte tagine which was excellent.

Nice atmosphere, and very good Moroccan and middle eastern food. Good choice for vegetarians. One of the many good restaurants in this area.

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
