The food is really tasty, they have a good variety of food, everything is fast, well presented and impeccable! It's hard to find it because it's inside the metro station (level G). Long queue but very fast.

Excellent food for such a cheap price. To order fill out the card then raise your hand with the card in it.

Tim Ho Wan has worked at a 3 rated Michelin star restaurant. He decided to go his own way and start his own chain called after him, rated with 1 Michelin star. He wanted to make quality dim sum but at an affordable price. The space here is very small, so be prepared to share tables as that's how most... More

Very organised despite the long queue. Very much worth the wait as the dim sum was incredible. Highly recommend. We couldn't believe how reasonable it was too.

It is quite a famous dim sum restaurant in Hong Kong, after meeting, I went with Colleagues and looking for a short dim sum break. Food was great but a lot of people, you may need to line up for 10-15 minutes. The restaurant is small and crowd, most of service staff do not understand English, but they provided picture... More

I personally don't recommend this restaurant. I don't understand how it's a Michelin 1 star restaurant. The food is not that great. I'd rather go to other dimsum places. It's too crowded and you have to wait for a long time but it's not worth it. Also the restaurant location is suuuuper hard to find. Eat here only if you... More

We really wanted to try the barbecued pork buns here. We had heard so much about them! Decided to go to the IFC branch. It's located in the basement level. Had about a 15 min wait. We shared a table with others and the food arrived promptly. Glad we went. The buns were awesome. The rest was good too. Note,... More

Yes there is a lot of people....even at 4pm we had to wait about 20 min to have a table for 2...But the porc and shrimp dumpling is the best i have ever tried in my life!😊 You will find several kind of dim sum : deep fried and steamed dumplings, bun, wantons...Etc. The food is very high quality. It... More

Waited in the queue for 30 mins. The food was mediocre and average at best. Went there because of the great reviews. Definitely overrated. Worst dim sum experience ever.

This is not the easiest location to find in the Central station and honestly I'm surprised we found it as easily as we did as there wasn't really any indication of where it might be.....but I used google maps and looks for where people were going and we found it. I wouldn't call it cheap but it was excellent and... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
