The food is good here. However, service is quite bad. The waiting staff was very impatience and pushing us to eat faster. It also does provide any tap water, some diners even need to share the table with strangers. But good food!

Very friendly, staff and owner very attentive. While waiting outside our order was taken so no waiting inside. Food options excellent, we shared Indian and teen son was able to have pizza. Worth a visit.

Ordered over the phone, was surprised to have the manager greet me at the front, noticed I looked thirsty, and even offer me a drink on the house! Really appreciated the hospitality being new to HK. Oh yea and delicious food

The food was excellent and the staff was attentive and friendly. We had the lamb and chicken kebabs and rice with saffron. The portions were huge, so one plate would have been enough for both of us. I also got a mojito, which was made well. The only negative is that the person I was with said she saw numerous... More

Where else could you see a group where one person is eating Mexican, another Indian, another Pizza, and finally kebabs - yes a real mix of tasty food that the locals seem to love, with great service.

We love Indian and went here after seeing it on TripAdvisor. Have to agree with the general consensus. We were served a complimentary leek and potato soup on arrival which was yummy. Had the beef korma and butter chicken with garlic naan and we were very impressed. An ice cold pint of draught Tsing Tao was the perfect accompaniment on... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
