Well as all of my tripadvisor reviews about Michelin star restaurants in Hongkong they differ from Europe. This is something you have to understand and set your expectations after. I have now eaten at four one star restaurants and one three star restaurant and this is by far the best restaurant when it comes to the total dining experience. This... More

This place was easily one of out best dining experiences in Hong Kong and the best dim sum we've had. It's on the pricier end of dim sum offerings in the city, but it's worth ever penny. The ambience of this place is not sparkly or particularly warm, but the service was straightforward and fast. We came just before the... More

We had late dinner here after a whole day at HK Disneyland per kids request. Don't miss their house specialty siao long pao, crunchy salad with bean curd and drunken chicken. Even at 8:30pm, the place was still full and there was still a cue of people outside waiting to be seated inside the resto so it is advisable to... More

This is a must go if you want to find out what dim sum tastes like. The restaurant is very popular and on some nights you might have to wait up to 45 minutes to get in. You get a checklist on which you have to mark the courses you wish to order. Fortunately, a picture menu comes with it,... More

The food was fantastic. However be warned that if the restaurant is busy you may be asked if you want to share a table. This would be fine under normal circumstances but if you are led upstairs be aware that you may be sharing a roundtable that seats 8 people in a small room. You get no buzz in this... More

My cousin who lives in Hong Kong took my husband and I here for lunch for a dim sum experience that we simply could not miss during our trip. As soon as you walk in the entrance you can see into the kitchen where the dumplings are being made and it is mesmerizing to see the care and labor that... More

Really nice evening- we even came back for a second round! Great selections of different variations. It is, however, a bit difficult to know what is what seeing that it all looks the same once its on your table and the staff were not really able to help us out/ understand what we were asking. If possible- make a reservation!!... More

Best to go there before peak hours to avoid long wait. Once seated and order taken, the food is served quickly. We've tried their siao long pao, vegetable dumplings and hot and sour soup. All good.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
