The tapas was good, but the service was awful. We wouldn’t have minded a time limit had we been told before sitting down, but we were pressured to leave multiple times when we haven’t finished our drinks. We were given the bill before we asked...More

Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of
Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and
restaurants, both areas are bustling with people –
tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the
highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more
polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart.

Tapas style dining so the portions are small. The idea is to share and taste lots of different items. We tried about 15 different ones, both from the written menu and from the specials/featured items on the chalkboard. The... More

The no reservation tapas bar 22 Ships has become one of Hong Kong hottest tables since opening in October 2012 - offering an eclectic menu of modern tapas, served in a buzzy yet relaxed setting, and a dynamic list of sherries, wines, spirits and Spanish beers. Using the best of both European and Asian ingredients, Michelin-star Chef Jason Atherton and 22 Ships’ Executive Chef Lee Westcott bring a modern touch to traditional classics. Westcott, who has strong a Michelin background and has worked with acclaimed chefs such as René Redzepi at Noma, was Head Chef at Tom Aikens Restaurant in London before taking up his role of leading the kitchen at 22 Ships
