A very good Thai restaurant if you are in the Wanchai district with tasty dishes and prices that aren't too bad.

Frankly Speaking, had dinner there yesterday, i was not becoming a friend of this place. The Thai restaurants nearby are better in my opinion, and this has a bit the touch of a Chinese Restaurant place... Nevertheless, the food ins't bad, just not what I expect from a Thai Restaurant.

Saw the high rating so wanted to try. Went there for lunch a few days ago. All in all it was pretty good. We had Thai green curry. Tom yum Kung and a spicy noodles with pork. The curry was very nice but also very sweet. All my time traveling in Thailand I have never had sweet green curry. That... More

So this is our Friday fixed lunch place and been eating here for a while. 505 Fish is awesome and a must try. Pork neck is very good and chili prawns is again an awesome dish. Rice and Thai curry is equally nice....go for fish curry in coconut which is very good.

Good value and reliable Thai cuisine. First floor location on Lockhart road, so depending on the time day you can watch the chaos of Wanchai unfold down below. Very good fish curry.

If you want a quick bit for average cost Chilli Club is worth a visit. Nothing great to shout about. Wait staff is complacent and I think they've been there too long.

I guess I tried most curries they have, fish, meat and absolutely Tom Yum. I can't say their food was the best one ever I have, but not that bad at all after I visited more than 3 times here, Chili club.

Ate here recently as a vegetarian I was expecting at least a couple of vegetarian options, alas nothing on the menu was vegetarian. They offered when I explained I don't eat fish either to do stir fry veg with noodles. Food very bland wished I hadn't bothered, tasteless and not worth the effort.

Staying in Wan Chai / Causeway Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Wan Chai / Causeway Bay
Wan Chai and Causeway Bay are the retail centres of Hong Kong Island. Filled with shops, malls and restaurants, both areas are bustling with people – tourists and locals alike. Causeway Bay has one of the highest rents on the planet, and is a bit more polished and modern than its Wan Chai counterpart. Beneath the surface there is more than meets the eye – find boutique stores in the above ground floors of buildings and wander into side streets to find interesting restaurants and shops tucked away from the main roads. Wan Chai especially has experienced a modern revival in recent times, with an influx of trendy restaurants and bars around the Star Street area. In addition, both areas contain many of Hong Kong’s iconic tourist attractions worthy of your visit.
