It's a pretty long taxi drive from Central HK. But it's so worth it. The location of Hyde Park Garden is really deep inside a web of sea food stores and restaurants, Make sure you ask around because there are so many other restaurants servers try to steer you to their places! Try Hyde Park Garden's steamed garoupa fish and... More

We were taken here by a friend on a cabin cruiser , after a day on Hong Kong Harbour and the South China sea. After tying up at the quay, we choose the live fish that we wished to have cooked from a line of fish merchants in the fishing village. It was then taken to the Hyde park garden... More

Went with my parents as it was a recommendation. The restaurant is part of a so called fisher village. In true it is a concentration of fish mongers and restaurants. The concept is you buy the fish and the restaurant cooks it for you. If you go without knowing the actual fish prices you will pay a high price. (One... More

Like Kayleen, I enjoyed the trip and the meal. Unlike Kayleen I was suffering from a sore ankle, so I found the walk a bit hard, though not that far - maybe 700m. Others in our group were also a bit dodgy on their pins so it would be good for the company to warn of that. Made harder by... More

Best seafood in Lei Yue Mun, Hongkong's seafood region. The restaurant has its own seafood outlet called "Ming Yuit Fresh Seafood". The seafood is very fresh. The cooking is excellent. The steam fish is perfect, not a second over cooked. The prawn and abalone are also excellent.

My brother and I went to this restaurant as part of a seafood dinner and cruise on the harbour by Watertours company. The cruise was a 1/2 hour to get to dinner which gave you a chance to view Hong Kong harbour in the early evening and you had a voucher for a drink/nibbles. By the time we docked to... More

Celebrated my birthday there with my family. As a local hongkonger I like to go to Lei Yue moon than Sai Kung market to eat seafood. Although here no promenade, it is a small traditional village can walked through many seafood shops. I think is pricey but it is worth value. It is because very fresh and wide viriaties. Chose... Like my title says, food was good. lots of fresh sea products in that region. lots of other restaurants to. But have to point out that the restaurant feels quite old and also very poor service from the waiters. There were better service at other restaurants. You pick your dish on the menu or you can also cross the yard... More

Excellent seafood with private rooms and a small courtyard for smokers, one of the best handful among many restaurants at Lei Yue Mun. Same owner as the long established seafood stall named Ming Yuet close by, honest, ultra friendly and helpful with cooking recommendations for each type of seafood you pick...a MUST visit.
