For sure the food has some HK touches which tends to be slightly different to the country of origin, but flavors were definitely there. I don't think is that bad as some flebitis reviews. One thing is certain, It was a challenge to find this place.

We decided to go to Good Satay as we had seen some alright reviews. When we got there, the restaurant seemed cluttered and there was dust and dead bugs everywhere. We ordered chicken wrapped in pandas leaves, an Indonesian salad and some satay. The chicken was not cooked very well and we had to send some back. The salad tasted... More

Local hidden place, nothing fancy, but very good food. Fast, convenient with reasonable prices. Worth to visit.

It's true, the restaurant has no charming atmosphere but honestly, it's like most of the typical hongkongish mall-restaurants. You should except that as soon as you enter the huge mall in a mall district. The food is delicious and very tasty, service is fast and very friendly, although barely english speaking. Recommendable!

Wonderful, authentic Chinese food. Delicious and inexpensive. A little tricky to find, but we did. My husband and I were the only westerners in the restaurant. The staff did not speak English, but the menu pictures told us what we neede to know. Service was excellent.

Perhaps I should give up on the search for a good Malaysian restaurant in Hong Kong. I don't know how many disappointing Malaysian meals I can put up with. Good Satay Restaurant is on the list of Time Out Magazine for best Malaysian cuisine. I beg to differ, the Chicken Satay and Laksa were a huge let down. Chicken was... More

Reviews for a good hainanese chicken rice got us to try out this restaurant. It was not easy to find, and at 5 pm we were the only customers. Service was friendly but slow. The dish we came for was average. Chicken well done, so was the rice but the whole plate was not the best we’ve tasted. We took... More

We were a family of 11 visiting this place because of the reviews. We needed a high chair for our baby and the waitress just pointed it to us. She had no desire to bring it to us. There were no spoons and bowls on our table but our request to have them were ignored. We had to get them... More

Read a blog about best hainese chicken in HK and this was the closest to me at the time of reading. As the blog said come for the hainese chicken and not their satay even though the name of the restaurant may suggest otherwise. I had three hainese chicken meals this time in HK and this was my best one.... More

This was an over rated spot that had average Satay at best. It has a hole in the wall place, with very small tables jammed together. It was not particularly cheap; however, it was not expensive. It was not a very clean place. The food was poor to average (greasy in some cases). The meats were not great quality. Based... More
