After checking out reviews for this place we knew we HAD to try. Despite having to queue outside as it's MEGA popular - no surprise why - it's the best ramen around. So good we have visited every night since. MUST VISIT IN HK!

Great ramen and skewers on busy location. Serviceminded staff. Worth a wait, which in my case was about 15 minutes.

Wow......it was worth the wait, don't be put off by the lineup outside. Take a number at the door, buy a drink or two from the 7eleven next door and just wait. We sat at the bench table facing the chefs, food was absolutely incredible, service was prompt and friendly.....a very cool place to enjoy dinner. Highly recommend !!!!!!!

Long queues every night of our 3 nights in HK. Had to resort to takeaway. Ramen in tonkatsu broth was tasty. A tad salty but ok after adding a little hot water. Friendly waitress who willingly acceded to my request for chilli powder.

My favorite must-go ramen place in Hong Kong! Have been here a few times and the food never disappoints. I definitely prefer this to the popular Ichiran ramen. But the shop is very small and there will usually be a queue in the afternoon. And the staff can be impatient and unfriendly during peak hours.

It's been here for a very long time. The ramen is still good and the broth gets lots of work. Reasonably priced and still draws the queues. But with the newer players in town with their mall addresses, this may be on the way out.

Delicious Japanese noddle with various choices at reasonable price. Average price is about HKD 78 per bowl. The most famous dish is Kyushu ramen which is using pig bone broth. Apart from noddle, they also provide some rice options like grill eel. I ordered a bowl of Fish Pig broth noddle with added corn that night. It contained sliced pork,... More

Really enjoyed our meal here, food was very tasty, well priced and quick. We had a minced chicken and rice dish, there were lots of options for Japanese soups etc on menu. The restaurant is fairly small so we had a short wait but only about 10 to 15mins. There is a small supermarket across the road that you can... More

Staying in Jordan / Yau Ma Tei

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.
