Having visited the Zuma in Dubai I selected this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and convinced my boyfriend that we should treat ourselves and have the tasting menu as it would be a real treat. As soon as we walked into the restaurant I was a bit disappointed with the atmosphere, it was very well lit so not much romatic... More

It is a restaurant which provided amazing good food. The fusions between Japanese and western cuisines are unbelievable matched perfectly. Although the price is a bit high, it is still worth, especially for special occasions

Been here a few times and it consistently delivers. Whilst it is quite expensive, but if you drink like most expats I think you get good value. I'm not a huge drinker but this is still my favourite brunch spot in hk. If you like Japanese food and free flow, this is a great spot. They have all the typical... More

A couple girlfriends and I went to Zuma for a ladies night out recently. Zuma may not be the absolute best Japanese restaurant in Hong Kong, but it is certainly consistent, reliable and you're pretty much guaranteed a very enjoyable evening all-round. With a very comprehensive menu, all 3 of us were able to select items we wanted to eat.... More

Two of us went for a late lunch. They could not give us a table in the main restaurant but fixed us up a nice corner of the bar in comfortable seats. We shared the Hoteu lunch menu which consisted of Clam Miso Soup, Ebi Maki, Scallops, Yuzu Seabass, Wagyu Tatar and for main course their signature Black Cod. In... More

Whenever we visit Hong Kong we head one night to Zuma and this since many years. Happy to report that the buzz, the excellent service, and above all the great food has remained unchanged. The food is not cheap, but for Hong Kong standards and the quality they serve, in order. Look no further for an exciting dinner with exquisite... More

Zuma is one of my favourite brunches in Hong Kong. The venue is light and bright with a well shaded balcony for eating al Fresco this time of year. The food is a good selection of quality sushi, sashimi and cooked Japanese food. The non-alcoholic brunch will set you back $548 +10% service but the good value free flow package... More

Visited Zuma many times and cocktails are amazing and surprising, ambiance is great with good music but too loud and service is always top. A must visit in HK!

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
Central
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
