On our recent visit to HK we had two lunches here and a few late afternoon refreshments! Great central location that you can get an outside escalator to up the hill where thins is located. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Food is mix of Mediterranean they do great tapas and also wraps and salads. This place fills up from... More

The drinks were great. The service team they did a lovely job. The decoration and the service brought us a good vibes, chill, and relax. I saw they are also selling shisha but i had no chance to try yet.

Good location , cold beer with lot of choice . Excellent ambience and good service . A distinctive pub restaurant to hang out , business meeting , casual chat with friends . One must try their all day breakfast . I love most the egg benedict and also English full breakfast for over 8 years .

I just came here for a couple of drinks on a Sunday afternoon. I live locally and had noticed the bar from the escalator. Great location and nice to sit outside above the craziness below. Surprisingly they don't do happy hour on weekends which is unusual as every other bar in the area does. There is also the 10% service... More

Everything was pretty bland and the service was terrible. The entree we got was crab croquettes despite the description saying there was chesse there was none. The ratio of crab to potato was minimal . The pizza base despite the waitress saying they were made fresh daily seemed to be a bought base and was not crispy when cooked. The... More

I live locally, and this is one of the few places you can get a seat in the sun. Food is consistently good and the bar down stairs ( Stauntons) is right on the escalator in the middle of Soho. Great spot to people watch.

We stumbled across this place after noticing the brunch specials. I tried the paella with avocado salad and churros for dessert. The paella was delicious and came in a nice little bowl. The salad was very small with 3 tiny slithers of avocado but very tasty. Instead of the tortilla mentioned, we were given scrambled eggs? When dessert arrived, we... More

This restaurant is on the second floor over a pub. There is an awning covering the outdoor patio so it's nice to sit outside. The decor is nice, and the food is really good. I watched meals come out and they all were plated well and everything looked delicious. My husband and I had the shrimp and avocado salad -... More

Staying in Central

Neighbourhood Profile
When people think of Hong Kong, most imagine movies with famous skyscrapers dominating the skyline. The area widely known as Central is the major financial hub and entertainment district, which truly lives up to the saying, “work hard, play hard.” Bars stay open late into the night and there just happens to be a street party every weekend. Although everything seems to be operating at lightning speed, Central is full of quiet, hidden gems. Nestled between office towers are wet markets and some of the city’s oldest restaurants dating back to the 1960s. Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Retreat from the crowds by exploring beautifully restored historical buildings and even a green oasis of botanical gardens.
