Great Yak meals! It is housed on the top of the hotel roof. The views are wonderful, and the sounds of the surroundings are added pleasures.

First off we were within 600 feet and the police had never heard of it, and this was in Chinese. So if you have GPS here are the coordinates : 29.654245 N, 91.134422 E. Small restaurant attached to a quirky hotel near to the Jokhang Temple. Walls painted in reds and yellows, seating for about 20 inside. Service was welcoming... More

I´ve just read what the last reviewer wrote about the restaurant and I could totally wrote the same myself. Everything we ate was delicious and fresh. The service is also very good and the staff is extremely friendly. We stayed in the House of Shambhala Hotel and there was a day when we had literally all our meals there: breakfast,... More

We stayed in this hotel while in Lhasa so had most of our meals here. Everything we had was delicious. Lentil ginger soup, noodle soups, momos, and especially the vegetable pekoras that we had to order on multiple visits as the best we've ever had. We tried different teas off the menu and all very good, and you could take... More

Located in one of the fancy hotels in the Barkhor area, it is one of the cosiest, well decorated places i've been to in Lhasa. I cannot comment on the price since i was a guest but the food was very good and the service attentive. It is one of the few places i like to linger in Lhasa. Dress... More

It also has accommodation, and the restaurant fare is varied. It's in a lane behind Barkhor Square, not far from one of the main roads. I liked the ambience (something I seldom need when on the hunt for food, which takes top priority.

Good atmosphere and very welcoming manager & staff who speak good English.. After some time in Lhasa we discovered this was definitely the best the city had to offer.

We were very impressed with the food here, particularly the veg momos and their hearty nomad soup which is perfect if you are suffering with the altitude. We also ordered freshly squeezed orange juice that was delicious. The restaurant itself is so pretty and has a lovely atmosphere. The best restaurant we visited in Lhasa.
