We tried this place out after reading some reviews and was blown away by how good it was. It is authentic middle eastern food and atmosphere in the heart of Bali. Try the dips and the meat as they cook it on the open BBQ and the taste is to die for. Highly recommended.

This was our second visit to Layali, and it did not disappoint. The restaurant has a wide selection of Middle Eastern dishes - all were very tasty and authentic. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you. Layali is also popular as a venue for smoking Shisha, or Hookah pipes - fascinating. It's rather different to most restaurants in Bali... More

Excellent decor and cuisine. Good service. Very reasonable in prices. The beef schwarma has a black pepper taste and is good. The chicken and beef kofta and tawook are all excellent. Getting in and out of Kuta from Nusa Dua is a mission. So it's important to have lots of patience. Good try. Something different.

We went to Layali Restaurant the first night of our visit to Bali and were a bit disappointed. The place is nice and the staff does everything they can to make you comfortable but the food is terrible. The chicken we ordered was very under cooked. The meat was very hard and chewy and didn't taste right at all. The... More

I ordered the cold mix appetizer plate and all 5 options were delicious, my favorite was the moutabal. We also had the fried kibbeh, chicken shawarma and zaatar mana'esh. All were delicious. We will definitely eat here again.

First time and will definitely come back. We had Mini Mezza Platter with 5 cold appetizer we chose: hummus, baba ganoush, moutabal, taboulah, and fatoush. Amazing, right portion for both of us as well. We also had Shish Kofta Chicken, so juicy, tender, grilled to perfection. The Arabic tea and teh tarik/Arabic milk tea (Shai Karak) were spot on too.... The food is so good! So good! We've only been a few days in the area and we wanted to try many restaurants, but I regret we didn't eat here more than once. If you like lebanese food, you have to go there! Prices are ok, could be a bit cheaper. The place looks clean, the waiter was nice.

The food is really good but the tables are dirty, so is floor so flies abound. Clearly there is no management on site.

Description
Bali's only authentic Lebanese restaurant has been building its reputation as one of South East Asia's top Middle Eastern dining establishments. Head Chef Ziad Mzannar is accompanied by over 22 years of experience from the Middle East and Africa and delivers a wide array of the finest Lebanese and Middle Eastern dishes. From Hommos to Falafel on the vegetarian side to succulent grilled fish and tender grilled lamb kebabs; the menu covers all of Lebanon's famous exports and more. The venue is traditionally Lebanese themed with both table as well as cushioned ground seating available. An outdoor dining area surrounded by lush vegetation immediately reminds one that they are in fact in the tropics of Bali. Kick back and relax in the lounge area with aromatic shishas which are available in a plethora of different flavors, alongside the hymns and rhythms of classical arabic music. Events are held periodically hosting arabic musicians as well as belly dancing performances.Any visit to Bali would be incomplete without a stop here for those craving anything Middle Eastern!
