The Loko is in the Malioboro corner. next to the Railway Station... ( as LOKOmotive shows) We had here breakfast, diner, lunch so many times. they have unbelieveble lot type of coffee. The food was delicious. my fav was the Nasi Goreng Tuna. but the...Cordon bleu and the bolognese are good also. i loved this place. We started our day here with a rice dish, a soup, a hot lemon and hot orange beverage. The staff was very helpful, spoke English, and the food was very good at this place offering 24hr service as a cafe/restaurant. This place is certainly great...for people watching and witnessing all the hectic activity of the area. We visited on a couple mornings and midday, but the evenings the place is packed and offers live music on this busy and happening corner. A visit during your stay is highly recommended.More
Its 24hours train station cafe. Been here in 4.am in the morning for coffee. Great place to rest when you just hopped off from train. Its also near the Malioboro street and really crowded at night. They also have live music.
Located next to Tugu station and very close to the extremely busy Maliboro Road is Loko cafe. It is quite large with seating areas undercover (roof but open to the elements) as well as open air. Quite a varied menu. We had Indonesian food as...well as a 3 egg omelette and very good coffee. This cafe has a very nice ambience to it, especially in the evenings. There is a decent menu and the food is well cooked. It is rail-themed as its name suggests and is located beside the railway tracks featuring an old locomotive cart that's converted...to a stage.
