Sulu Plaza Thai was our first taste of Boracay. We, a couple, had arrived late and needed some food and in a misguided moment stepped in here. We ordered Pad Thai and vegetable fried rice. The food was pathetic. The vegetable fried rice had some shredded cabbage and if you searched for it, a bit of shredded carrot. Terrible food,... More

Our last day on Boracay we came across the Sulu Thai Restaurant. The food was very good. Pad Thai, Garlic Rice and Cashew chicken. You can order mild medium or hot spicy. The food arrived in a timely fashion. Our only negative was the not so friendly waitress.. No hello, no good afternoon, nothing. Very unusual based on our experience... More

I was GRANDPAcking in Boracay for 5 weeks and chose to stay in station 3. One night I fancied a Thai - there aren't many to choose from - so I popped in to give them a go. I ordered a Tom Kha Gai which costs PHP260; not great value but when you need Thai… you need Thai!

The menu is very long so you always can find something for yourself. They offer good food for a reasonable price. Don't order Pina Colada - it tastes weird. My recommendation to the owners: write your prices on the menu outside.

Having spent 5 nights at the same hotel, I had lunch 2 times and breakfast once. The price is right for the portions you get, and taste is not bad. When you ask spicy, they really do it spicy. The place next door has better coffee though.

During our time in Philippines we tried to find good Thai food and finally we found it in Sulu. Dishes were spicy and portions were good size. We usually share our food so we can eat in many restaurants, and portions here were good size even for that. Prices were ok, not cheap but not expencive either. If you like... More

I liked the food, portions were good size, not too big cause I like to eat lightly when it's so hot outside, but if you are really hungry you won't get full with these portions. :) Service is something they could improve.

Food was ok - slightly too much garlic - pad thai the best thing on the menu. Poor service / lack of it meant this restaurant could do much better. Smaller portions for appetisers i.e. fishcakes with more flavour next time.

Going to this restaurant was the biggest mistake I have made during my 2 week stay in Boracay .The food was an insult both in price , portion and quality.. Did not know if I had to laugh or cry at the portions as it looked like portions from the kiddies menu. Won't miss out on anything. If you give... More

I felt the food is not as good as the first time I came. Maybe more local flavour has been added to the way of cooking. Staff is friendly and try to accommodate our request.
