Skirt has been on my list for a while, and it was absolutely worth the wait.
My wife and I went there for our first dinner as a married couple, while on a staycation in Sentosa (unfortunately at the W... lesson learned!).
I was very impressed with pretty much everything.
The service is impeccable and yet informal enough to make you feel warm and welcome; manager and staff wear perfect uniforms, are extremely well mannered, and know how to deal with clients at best. They are very attentive and helpful, they know the menu very well and always keep an eye on the different tables.
Food quality is also very high. This place is primarily a steakhouse, but if you are into seafood you won't be disappointed either.
We had a number of different dishes (see images for reference), and were very please with the overall quality of each single one.
I was also very happy with the wine list, which offer a pretty good selection of both affordable and high end wines, all of pretty good quality.
And the environment speaks for itself: modern and design, very elegant and welcoming, seats are super comfortable (we had dinner indoors).
The outdoor seating area also looks pretty cool, so I guess we'll have to go again!

Good quality for a grill restaurant. Meats are well executed, sides are tasty too. Best of all, pricing is very reasonable, considering its location in sentosa.
We booked last minute at 2pm, and was told indoor seating will only be available after 8pm. We just popped by around 7pm, expecting to hang around the bar or outdoors, but was pleasantly surprised that our table is ready.

We went to Skirt for our first night's dinner at W Sentosa Sunday ordered the Grazing Menu and a separate Argentinian steak. service was excellent and very attentive- thanks to Mae.😊 I thought the Grazing Menu at $198 wasn't that great value..we should have ordered 2 Argentinian steaks and side dishes instead. But kudos to the staff for great recommendations and even changing our dessert gratis.

I had heard really good reviews about Skirt from friends so we decided to try it out a group of 5. My friend booked the table under the babe Mark. When we arrived we asked for the reservation. The Duguay said yes we have your table here. 30 mins later we found that our friends had already been seated elsewhere. Great start!
We ordered some cocktails and a bottle of champagne. Signature entries of peppers was not available but we ordered several entries two wagyu steaks and the Skirt signature meat.
We waited a very long time at least 30 minutes then suddenly somebody brought the amuse bouche. Then IMMIEDIATELY before we even tasted the amuse bouche the entries arrived! Main courses like most of the food was OK but dissapointing. Service was an absolute catastrophy!
The only redeeming factor on an overblown $1790 bill was the fact that as a Marriott Titanium Ambassador member I got a 20% dis punt off the bill!
Very very dissapointing after all I had heard good. Maybe just a bad night, but I won’t be back to check!

Gave this restaurant a try after reading all the positive review and it being ranked #1 in Sentosa island. Service was mediocre, merely going through the motions. Nothing as compared to the top notch service standard which we have expected from them. With the price paid, I believe there are many other restaurants out there which offers better food quality and service.

Made a booking easily enough, was phoned on the day to reply-confirm our booking, reminded of the dress code, smart Casual, no shorts for men allowed.
Upon entering the restaurant the atmosphere was okay, seated near and in view of the kitchen (which is fine). Provided with menus, food and wine, asked politely about water. We order our wine quickly to then take some time to contemplate the food menu selection, stark was definitely on the menu, hence the wine was easily selected. We where asked 3 times within 3-4 minutes of being seated if we where ready to order yet… what’s the rush?
Order out cut of steak, grilled broccolini and duck fat potatoes. The steak was order rare to rare plus (less than medium rare), to which we could see that it was not allowed to rest for very long at all, it was sliced and presented with the sides. The steak was at best chewy and somewhat dry… juices weren’t allowed to settle back into the meat. The broccolini was yum, the potatoes where soft and not crispy at all.
The staff did not know what the amuse Busch was… the wine whilst a 2016 had not been left to rest on its side, the cork had dried out, fortunately the wine was okay. The staff kept asking us once the food was placed if everything was okay, 4 times in 4 minutes at least… just going through the motions…
Overall we felt very disappointed, as the restaurant had come highly recommended… We won’t be recommending it at all.

One of the best steaks I've eaten in Singapore. The unique and wonderfully presented amuse bouche just kept coming. The foie gras lollipop was my favorite, it tasted like Christmas.
A little expensive but much of the bill was wine. They have a great 50% off on Thursdays before 6.30 p.m. Don't be late.
The only comment I would add is they could offer a wider range of jus/sauce. One seems a little short for a high-end restaurant.

One of my husband's favourite restaurants in Singapore, he chose Skirt yet again for his birthday dinner. We've been several times in the past and once again had a wonderful evening. As with every visit, the service was excellent, both during our dinner and leading up to it. When I emailed to make our reservation the staff member, Sharmae, remembered us from previous visits and kindly sent a copy of the current menu, offering to allow us to pre-order any dishes we were particularly looking forward to trying so we wouldn't be disappointed. Sharmae also made note of our special occasion, and made sure our to make it a good one for us both.
At dinner pre-orders were filled without issue, and the food was delicious. We shared the sweetcorn ravioli as a starter, tasty little parcels of corn with a flavourful brown butter sauce. I especially enjoyed my main, the beef rib, which was perfectly cooked, tender but still with some texture and a rich, beefy flavour. And the mac and cheese was as good as it always is (though I would have enjoyed a bit more pork cheek in it). The only letdown was the skillet bread, which has always been one of the highlights of our past visits, but this time was quite dry and hard, like it had been sitting out for awhile (but its complimentary so not really something to complain about!).
We only ordered one dessert to share (the manjari garden which was decadent and delicious) but the staff kindly brought my husband a complimentary birthday dessert (a delicious berry mousse cake), and the additional surprise of an extra dessert off the menu, the olive oil cake, which was another fantastic dessert. We were grateful for the thoughtful gesture. Skirt definitely knows how to make a special occasion even more special, and we always appreciate their efforts, hence why we've returned so many times!

We took set for 2 pax at 196$/2pax including braised crayfishes, hummus and small grilled green pepperbell. Crayfish smells the wood they use for grilled and not seafood taste. Hummus really good. Main beef fimmet was good but a bit small for 2 considering set price. Veggies have not any interest they are braised a'd they have also this burnt wood smell (which BTW fill the restaurant atmosphere way too much). The dessert was really good, the ovaltine kulfi with clotted cream.
The wine were average, but too lite, they are not standard 125ml serving.
The foie gras torchon was HORRIBLE. 42$++ for that is a shame. It is more bad than an industrial bloc at 6€. It is very fatty and no taste, is this duck or goose? Looks like butter. Cannot finish (very big portion but bad then no interest). Would prefer it half size but nice.
Overall a 350$ bill which is really not worthy.
Not at all. Overpriced and quality bad to average. Except dessert.

Service was impeccable. The food was very high-quality. We had two steaks and an appetizer of pan-seared scallops. The appetizer was very small. The steak was substantial and at 300g, I found it quite a lot of meat for one person. Do note that you could request for tap water (at no charge), without going for their offer of still or sparking water ($11 for a bottle of Evian). The way they put it across sounded as though there were no other choices besides still or sparking.

Ambience
Pretty chill vibes, tropical feel, if only the staff wore tiki masks. Music was nice, not too overpowering and overall quiet, I didn't have to shout to be heard
Food
Bread was made by Jesus. And they multiplied it x2 on demand. Believe it was a focaccia. Props to the chef, who also gave us a side of amuse bush, maybe cause it was a special occasion for us.
For mains we had the steak. Skirt steak was flavourful and done to instructions. Wagyu was slightly salty, but so am I.
Would recommend the Skirtini (not in menu) which was a house special martini.
Service
Teresa and Maran were excellent and attentive. No complaints for service and she made good recommendations on the menu.

Ordered: Australian wagyu butchers cut steak, Japanese Tochigi A5 wagyu and truffle fries.
Australian wagyu was taken medium rare. Good texture and taste.
Japanese wagyu very soft and melts in the mouth. Very flavourful.
Truffle fries a bit too oily. Good that they sprinkled actual black truffle on top.
Served by Oscar and Theresa. Good service, attentive and polite staff.

We had a wonderful afternoon at Skirt celebrating a birthday. The food was tasty and they have adapted the brunch to be shared platters on the table during COVID restrictions. The service was great and especially Wai Meng who went out of her way to provide us with what we needed. She was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a great afternoon spent at the W.

Was here on a Sunday night for a celebration. We asked the lovely server, Michelle for recommendations and she gladly obliged in explaining the qualities of the different steak cuts available. Our Flat Iron Steaks came medium-rare as requested, and the sides of charred broccolini and mashed potatoes were very tasty. Michelle was a very good host and provided an excellent service to ensure that we were satisfied by our entire experience at Skirt.

Had a lovely dinner for our 20 years anniversary at Skirt. Service was impeccable, food was fabulous and ambience was perfect for the occasion. The Japanese tochigi wagyu melts in your mouth and the bread they served is the best I ever had. Skirt even provided a complimentary cake for the occasion and when they helped us to take a couple shot, they even had a small light so that the photo turned out well lit. The whole dinner was just perfect.
