I’ve dined at the Cliff in three consecutive nights as part of a package at the hotel. Over the course of each evening, service has regretfully been progressively lower. On nights 2 & 3, I actually had to ask a member of staff if I...could order ….whereas other tables who were seated after me were served immediately. Tonight, I waited 40 mins before being served a drink and was served the wrong starter - which I ate anyway as could not be bothered to wait for a re-order. The place was not even that busy to be honest and whilst I know I was only a single diner, in the current environment where there is a max if 2 people per table, there’s not even the excuse of big groups. Food itself delicious if a little small in portion size (but I put that down to a set menu). Not sure I would return - there are better places around here.More

Shout out to Mani & the team at the Cliff who made our last min reservation for a birthday lunch particularly memorable! Food was top-notch, service by Mani, our Server was impeccable & professional. He recommended several vegetarian options for us & all turned out...superb! Also, the sweet ending with a surprise birthday cake was very much appreciated. Thank you very much Mani & everyone at The Cliff!More

Our waiter at the Cliff (Jason Yee) was extremely friendly and did his best to maximise our experience, as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Despite the busy hour at the restaurant (dinner time on a Friday night) we did not have to wait for...too long, and when we did wait our waiter informed us of the status of our good before we even had to ask. They also accomodated to change requests for our pizza. The quality of the food was very good. And again, we enjoyed very much the service which made our evening special.More

The Cliff’s warm hospitality and impeccable service has been truly impressive. We enjoyed an early dinner of delicious burrata with juicy heirloom tomatoes, perfectly fried artichokes with lemon aioli, melt in your mouth beef cheeks, lamb chops and refreshing raspberry sorbet. Loved the crusty bread....We enjoyed the ambience with both sea and pool view. We had the most delightful afternoon and will certainly be back for more. Highly recommended. Thank you Agnese and team !More

Special shout-out to Jason and Julianne of The Cliff. To start off, we were there to celebrate my birthday with the retreat to sanctuary package. Sofitel and So Spa, terrible experience. Whole experience was made up by service staff at The Cliff. Service staff were...top notch, on the ball, ready to recommend and were quick to make up for any inadequacies a customer experienced. Expect to be treated like as if you were in fine dining restaurant.More

We had these antipasti and they were scrumptious. Presentation was lovely and serving size was adequate: 1. BURRATA & HEIRLOOM CHERRY TOMATOES (still drooling thinking about it) 2. ASPARAGUS ALLA VENETA 3. BABY GEMS SALAD (description didn’t sound interesting and it didn’t look very appetizing...but it tasted amazingly delightful) Main course: both tasted good 1. ROASTED BARRAMUNDI 3. FENNEL SAUSAGE PIZZA Dessert: 1. RASPBERRY LYCHEE SENSATION (lovely presentation and great taste) 2. THE CLIFF TIRAMISU (yummy but I had better ones) 3. DARK CHOCOLATE CHERRY CAKE (this was delicious) 4. SICILIAN CANNOLI (I wouldn’t ordered this again. Not my kind of dessert) Service by Jason Ee was excellent. He was extremely busy overseeing 2 trainee servers as well as taking orders and other miscellaneous tasks. Nevertheless, Jason was efficient and often came by to check if everything was ok. Great job Jason! The only complaint about The Cliff would be the bread that was served was cold and hard. Also, even though the attire is stated as smart casual, there were guests dressed in shorts and slippers.More

I stayed in the Sofitel Sentosa as part of my wife's birthday in early February, and initially purchased the KweeZeen Ultimate Seafood Brunch, which was hosted at the Cliff (due to COVID). It was an unmitigated disaster, with the seafood never arriving (after more than...two hours of waiting), and the rest of the brunch disgusting - cold, oily and heavy. We felt physically sick and trapped while waiting for our (prepaid) brunch to arrive. That's when the Cliff team turned things around for us and saved my wife's birthday weekend. Andy (who was so new to the team he didn't even have business cards) and was the manager for the Cliff saw our plight and apologied profusely (despite this not really being his team's fault), and did everything that he could to organize a refund, proactively speaking to a number of the members of the Sofitel team, and Klook directly (who we purchased the brunch with via a voucher). When this was not possible, he personally called us to explain the issue, and was able to deal with our frustration in a very professional manner. He offered us a dinner at the Cliff in lieu of a cash refund, knowing that after our initially awful experience we were still reluctant, but persuaded by his caring manner we decided to take a risk. And this is when things turned around. We had a wonderful experience with the Cliff team, and the food was absolutely superb with excellent service. Even more, when the bill came, Andy told us it was taken care of in full - going well beyond the cost of our initial brunch. Throughout the rest of our stay, Andy also waved hello and spoke with us, apologizing again for the bad experience and leaning in to ensure we had a great rest of stay at the pool and the rest of the facilities. He also told me that he hoped we would stay with us again, and gave us his mobile number to ensure he would take care of us when I returned. Service like this (from Andy and his staff), is incredibly rare, and combined with the amazing food completely turned around my perception of the Sofitel Sentosa Hotel at large, and made it something that I would actively complain about to others to an experience that I would encourage my friends to visit. I look forward to also visiting the Cliff again at some point in the future. However, stay away from Kwee Zeen and Sofitel itself until they get their act together - to date no one from Kwee Zeen kitchen, the Head of F&B or Sofitel Concierge EVER responded to me regarding that experience and my initial complaint - it was all down to and on the back of Andy and his wait staff - the Sofitel is extremely lucky to have you, and these kind of old school F&B values are sorely missing in these days from so many hospitality brands. Thanks guys!More

relocated at the newly opened Sofitel on Bukit Manis, the Cliff boasts a great outdoor view of the sea (though not as open as Panamericana), and serves some pretty great food.. we had the funghi misti pizza and linguine, with the side of broccolini. service...by the table service staff were pretty good and friendly too, though the front manager appeared a little too white-loving (kinda nonchalant when attending to us at the front and table, but overzealous to the fairer skinned guests haha), nonetheless would say service otherwise was pretty good.More
