Had lontong and rice with dishes. While the food was good, do find that it may be a little over priced. Worth a try though for the authenticity. Do not forget to get their Kuehs (cakes) as they are good.

As my 82 year old mum felt like having Nasi Padang for lunch today and being Peranakan, we decided on the East Coast Road restaurant of Glory Catering. We ordered Beef Rendang, Grilled Sotong, Sayuh Lodeh, Grilled Fish, Bean Sprouts and 2 portions of Otah to go with plain rice....plus 2 rolls of our favourite Popiah and Kueh Paitie!! Satisfying... The Laksa, is the PITS. Hardly any taste, and the gravy was so "thin". Very unsatisfying. The chilli for the laksa was a joke. There was hardly any spice. Pooh. The popiah: badly made. Not cut well. The "mangguang" (turnips) were coarsely cut. Poor taste, for such a price! $3/popiah. SIAO! Chendol. My goodness. The ice was ROCK hard. Not... More

You can get Mee Siam anywhere in Singapore... but you can only get the very best at Glory's. Apart from their delicious and well priced Mee Siam, you can also pick-up plenty of local favourites like longtong, mee rubus and Nonya cakes!

I have been eating Glory Catering's nyonya kueh since I was a teenager. The quality then was very good and genuinely Peranakan. But how the quality has changed. It has now gone down the gutter and the prices have gone up so high. Eg their "kueh kosui" is unpalatable. It tastes and feels like "nian gao" or sticky cake served... More

Went to their restaurant at East Coast Road and the food is really horrible. The dishes and rice were all cold. Curry chicken is the sour type which is not to my liking. The egg and the vegetable dishes were sub-standard, to the point that any home cooked meal would taste better. Price is on the high side as I... More

We were in Katong to buy teak furniture and decided to pop in as we were feeling peckish. We ordered two popiah, which at s$3 each is double what you might pay outside, but it was rich, filled with turnip and had a fresh and firm middle-sized prawn in it - utterly satisfying. We also, ordered the curry chicken, which was... More

They have a good variety of curries at reasonable prices. Not cheap but since quality is ok, I am fine with it. Their popiah is good. Laksa is average. Chicken curry is very good.

Had a craving for popiah so went to Glory's as it's yummy; I must say the standard has since dropped. As for the rest of the food, tried some some time back,it was ok, nothing fantastic that makes you go wow!! As for the 'Kueh' the portions are now smaller and more expensive and their standard has also dropped. Can't... More
