I’ve not had better egg tarts and egg cakes 鸡蛋糕 than Tong Heng. You have to have this! They recently renovated and it’s like a cafe now

If you want to enjoy some of the best tasting custard tart pies. This is a establishment that has been in business over 120 years. This is the better chinese bakery than the excellent places in San Francisco. Very reasonable and you need to enjoy.

Egg tarts are great, but aware they are EGGY in taste. Also try the coconut egg tarts with the almond coffee. Very clean shop.

My first time trying tong heng egg tarts at chinatown. Felt that the ratio between the egg and pastry was good! However its best eaten warm as the taste of the egg will be brought out even further when the egg is warm

These local egg tarts are delightful. The pastry is crunchy. It's best to eat when it's warm/hot. Just put it in the oven before eating. So worth it. The soft pastry will become crispy again. The warm soft and creamy middle will be just oh...More

I had breakfast here and ordered some egg tarts, a barbecue pork pastry, and a cup of coffee. Very good and delicious. I love the barbecue pork pastry. The coffee also quite nice. The pastry can be easily making me addictive.

Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful
sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling
sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its
blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an
Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit
almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony
continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to
the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
