We (5 colleagues) came here for a weekday lunch. It was my first visit here.
The location is out of the way unless you drive. The whole estate is away from the hustle & bustle of busy urban life. It also has wide outdoor to explore & walking.
The place has a good ambience & we were served by a friendly & attentive manager: Andy.
We ordered:
1. Seafood Marinara Pasta
2. Prawn Alio Olio x3
3. Margherita Pizza
4. Truffles Fries
5. Veggie Sticks
6. Nacho
My colleagues feedback that the #2 was too dry. We had not enjoyed the veggie sticks, it was such a waste of money & i would recommend this to be removed from the menu.
However #1 & #3 tasted delicious.
The mocha coffee was way too sweet & the 3 latte were left at the counter for a few minutes before being served (i was seated facing the bar).
Overall the food was medicore.
The service was a bit slow as there were only 2 waitress & 1 duty manager & they were working non stop.
We had enjoyed our time here but not necessary of the food.
Will i be back ? I am not sure!!

Thank you for the detailed review and feedback. It is very helpful for us as we're currently working on a new revised menu. In the meantime, we have also stopped serving veggie sticks since 1 Jan 2021. We're also actively searching for new members to join our team even though it is taking some time.
However, we're glad to hear that despite the circumstances, our restaurant manager Andy has served you well! We hope to be able to serve you again in the future with improvements in both our service and food.

The moment we arrived, my wife n I were welcomed by warm smiles by the staff. The food was good and they even specially made special arrangements with the live band to make our celebration extra special. We will be back for sure!

We arrived at 5pm and were informed the dinner grilled menu is only available after 6pm. Ended up with limited selections on the menu. Should have been indicated when we make the reservation. Inattentive staff, had to make several attempts to get their attention.

We wish to express my dissatisfaction about the service at your established and well-known restaurant. We had made an advance Valentine's 6 course dinner on 12 February and visited your restaurant on 14 February 2020. We expected to have a great time at your restaurant but unfortunately we did not. We have arrived at your restaurant at 7.30pm and only been served 2 drinks and starters. We have waited almost 2 hours for our main course to be served and after the long waiting, we were still not been served at all. Finally, we have decided to leave your restaurant with disappointment. It is very important to remember that ‘The Better The Service, The Better The Business’.

Our booking was at 8pm.
Most of the items were sold out - like strawberry milkshake, dun
Waited almost an hour for them to inform us that they have no more mussels.
Waited for another 20 minutes for the food to arrive; all came except one (the paymaster’s order). We ate and by the time we almost finished, we reminded the waiter about our last order.
Hah, told us it’s being cooked but later about 10mins later said they ran out of the order (chicken burger).
We came when they just started; it was memorable. Now, don’t think I’ll be going back.

We sincerely apologize for this lacklustre experience as it should not have been this way. Our restaurant was fully booked on the day of your visit, and we should have better prepared for the crowd to avoid items from running out. The food was terrible. We paid $40 for a dish (take away) that definitely cost less than $10 to make. We got the “Yee Shang” with a twist during this festive period. The taste was awful, the only twist was that we feel really cheated and it is inedible. The plum sauce was replaced by vegetable oil. The golden crackers were replaced by cheap nacho chip crumbs. The peanuts were replaced by candied walnuts from a packet. Would recommend not eating here and picking another restaurant in Seletar instead.

Very cosy and relaxed bistro style restaurant. Surprisingly to food are really good .. value meal and drinks during happy hour. Very cosy and relax ambience especially sitting outdoor with shelter. Ordered fry luncheon meat was tasty and definitely pair well with a glass of beer. The mussel pot with bread to dip is the highlight ! The fry small squid is average as it just too much flour to my liking. The steak looks good but kind of dry ! We ordered wines but told out of stock after 2 selections and then limited to 1 bottle in stock. However, friendly waitress made great night to hang out with good friends ! First impression not too bad and will come back to check more other food menu..!

Mr Sim turns 17 and Daddy Sim couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate his special day, especially when his Aunt Oreo could be there to share the occasion with him. Not many places welcome black and hairy aunties, you know. 😁
So to Seletar Aerospace Park the family headed, where many chill eateries are located and YOUNGS being one of them. If Seletar sounds far, it’s really not so if one uses the KPE route and believe me, the drive there is well worth the effort.
Our reservation was at 7pm and upon arrival, the place was already bustling with thirsty and hungry folks. We were most fortunate to nab one of the gazebos next to the fountain, and had a private event feel as we were in a different section away from the main one.
We decided to share some mains with a couple of sides to go with our tower of Hoegaarden. The deep fried white bait and spam wedges worked really well with our icy beer as starters and whet our appetite nicely for the mains as well.
And none of the mains disappointed. The BBQ Pork Ribs were moist, tender and had delicious bits of jello fats embedded among the lean parts. I also liked it that the BBQ sauce wasn’t cloyingly sweet and I shamelessly licked my fingers clean, with Oreo doing some of the licking too.
The Mussel Pot was another winner, all garlicky, buttery and the broth heady with a generous amount of white wine; absolutely delish to dunk the chunks of garlic bread in.
Ethan’s Pulled Pork Pizza arrived at the table looking like someone has puked his dinner on a skateboard; but it actually tasted so good that we promptly ordered another round.
We got Aunty Lily a Grilled Sea Bass minus the Yuzu Mayo, she being a Lao Lian and not into western chow.
Fussy her was quite pleased with the size and freshness of the fish too. And like the ribs, it came with a serving of yummy grilled zucchini, bell peppers and potato; balancing the meal quite nicely.
The service standard at YOUNGS is outstanding; not surprising since many of the staff are either ex or current cabin crew.
Special thanks to Manager Jason Tan & Sharon for making our dinner such a great experience.
Aunty Lily was walked to the ladies ala Empress Dowager style accompanied by Sharon and was naturally all praises of this charming and bubby gal.
Ended the evening on a sweet note with a slice of birthday cake on the house and Oreo joining in the birthday song. A really nice night out with the family indeed.😍

Repeated visit to this restaurant. I find that weekday lunch to be the best timing as there isn't too much of a crowd and the service staff are more attentive. Shout out to Andy for the amazing service! The ambience is great with lots of greenery and they're pet friendly too. The truffle fries are probably my favourite as I wasn't expecting such thick cuts with actual truffle bits!! Definitely worth the trip imo

Service can be improved, staff’s attitude seems subtly hostile when we said the order was wrong. (Ordered crab cake but got pancakes. However, we stated that we wanted to change the asparagus so how could it be a pancake order.)
Crab cake wasn’t fresh, fishy smell.

We started with water melon flamebee - good fun though not the tastiest. Delicious: Crispy baby squids, white bait and sharing platter.
Mains: burger servings were ample and beef tenderloin was excellent - nice salty charred crust and I highly recommend the Cafe de Paris butter sauce! Sauce went well with the steak and the side (roasted potatoes).
Desserts: highly recommend molten chocolate lava cake - rich, fragrant chocolate taste. The tiramisu was heavy on cheese so a cheese lover will prefer this version.
All day happy hour on Tuesday so good value for beer and alcohol. Live music on Tuesday was fronted by Regi and Jenny. They interacted well with the tables during their breaks and entertained multiple song requests. Overall enjoyable experience with good food, lively ambience for chilling out with friends and family.

I had a great time at the restaurant last night. The ambiance was nice, and the band, Shawn & Regi, was very entertaining. It's always a great experience when the atmosphere and entertainment are top-notch.
However, the day was marked when, upon reaching home, I checked my receipt and realized that I was double-charged for the fish and chips. This is the second time it has happened to me at Young's Bar & Restaurant.
.
The management should seize the opportunity presented by the band's supporters and their contributions in order to benefit and grow the business. This can be achieved by hiring more experienced service staff, cashiers, and bartenders. Ensuring that food and drinks are served promptly and charged accordingly will help to retain the crowd.

First visit and won’t be my last. Having ,over to singapore for work and met a friend who recommended we go to Youngs. Having arrived the host was welcoming and had informed us they were full but will check and try to accommodate us. The manager came and assisted us allowing us to wait as he was clearing a table for us. Offered us drinks at the bar while we wait. He introduce himself as the restaurant manager and introduce us to his colleagues by their names and who our server will be. It’s rare to see service like this. Recommended us to get the meat lover platter to share and cocktail. The food was great and so was the drinks. The wait staffs was busy but never failed to attend to us when needed. There was personal touch given was rare and not just to us. Smiles all around. Kudos to the chefs and the service team. Looking forward to my next visit!

My first visit to this place on 3 Jan 2020 with my wife together with another couple. It’s ambience and food quality and pricing were also good. The service staff led by Restaurant Manager Mr. Burn were very prompt and responsive. There were also accommodating when we made some request. There was a 2-piece band entertaining the customers and relatively good. However our couple friends had been to this place a few days earlier and mentioned that the other 2-piece band played and sang better. Hope to revisit again soon.

There are both outdoor and indoor seatings. However it is best to make a reservation if one wishes to sit indoor as there are limited seats. We had set lunch at $23 for two courses and $27 for three courses. If dining here often, it is worth considering being its gold member. Just beside the restaurant on the right is the Heritage Tree pitstop with some Broad-leafed Mahogany trees.
