The chicken in the mee ayam looks unappetising. But the taste was okay, staff rather disorganised in getting the order ready. No cutlery provided for eating in. Looked annoyed when i gestured for it. But sambal chilli was fantastic!

Wanted to try indonesian style chicken noodles- mee ayam . It is not as salty as some i’ved tried. Small portion but enough for me. Guys will most likely eat two bowls! Sgd 8 for one. Was not too cheap. But worth a try. Stall...holders looks to be indonesian .More
I’ve patronised this restaurant quite number of time, my review Soto Betawi Nice, tender beef and thick soup Nasi Kuning Quite nice. Chilli too little and can’t ask for more. Can’t buy either 👉🏻 need to improve. At least if we want to add on...chilli can pay a certain amount of money Nasi Campur Bali Meat quite tough. Not that worth to try Nasi Jinggo Portion too small!! Sometimes that put chili, but sometimes forget. Not standard. Corn fritters Too oily but quite nice Overall for the food is 3/5 but the food quite pricey and oily.More
First to came here with my friend as it’s nearby her office. We’ve ordered Nasi Campur Bali Sop Bontot (Oxtail Soup) Let me give you more info about the rest before we go on food taste and quality. Location - it’s located at B3-10 313...Somerset very central area. Small space but it’s alright, I thought that can be somehow cute/unique about this restaurant. Ambience - very Indonesian vibes, with wall paintings and staff also speak Indonesia that makes it more Indonesian vibe. It’s like sort of hawker style where you can see all the dishes and ready to serve. Menu Options - I would say good enough variety to choose. Quality and Quantity - it’s self service, quality it’s great taste. I just wished that they can at least pre-heat it so it’s warm or a bit hot when to eat 😐. as for the portion good for one person per dish Overall, I would say to try if you haven’t since I think it’s new and it’s around Somerset area. But to visit again, not sure of that thoughMore
All the culinary choices of indonesia in Singapore Very basic bistro type restaurant but amazing food and very nicely priced Was like being in Jakarta Always full of patrons always a good sign Will go back.
I was so looking forward as they have quite a complete traditional Indonesian food. We ordered Soto betawi, mie ayam jamur, soto Ayam, siomay Bandung and ayam penyet. I think they taste pretty different, not authentic at all. For instance, soto betawi lack of the...depth of the rich beef taste. Mie Ayam Jamur, noodle taste like Bakmi GM but more salty. Soto Ayam is blend, not much ingredient. Ayam penyet, I think food republic taste much better. Very disappointing.More
Love the Balinese beef rendang set meal as the meats were tender and the dish is flavoursome. Food is prepared fresh and comes out warm and just right.
Their soups are really similar with the one i had back in Indonesia. They also got 3 types of Sambal (indonesia homemade chili), some fritters and other local food with affordable price!
Patronized by many Indonesians, Tok Tok must be doing something right. This is my second visit. I had to return because the food was decent enough to satisfy my Indonesian food craving. Sop Buntut was consistently good. I don’t like the Es Chendol because the...ice shaving was not fine enough. Also, there is not enough gula melaka. The chendol is mushy. It’s quite disgusting to taste it. You can find decent Indonesian Street food here. Do note that they come with a price tag. The sop buntut is sgd9.50 while the not so nice chendol is sgd 3.80. I definitely will still return but I definitely won’t order the Es Chendol again.More
This would be as close as I can get to Jakarta street food in Singapore. And I usually eat there and buy some "snacks" back to enjoy later. All the goodness and flavour, without the MSG.
