Excellent Dining Experience. My company's Chairman hosted a dinner on 19 October 2023 for board members. As the day's meeting agenda overrun, not only was the restaurant understanding, they were very accommodating in waiting for us and preparing the pre-ordered food accordingly to the estimated...arrival time that I updated the restaurant. Everyone enjoyed the food and wine and most of all the service was great. Special thanks to Ms Irina, who had provided personal touch in delivery excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a nice business dinner venue to come here.More

We came here for dinner, sadly I have to say I won’t be back and I won’t recommend coming here if possible. Service: The service from the staff was average, but if they had injected a little bit more zest, enthusiasm, and attention to detail,...that would have made a difference. The two service staff were mediocre in their service and did not bother to ensure our table was clear of bread crumbs and water marks from the glasses condensation. The female server was going through her social media with the volume switched on as she waited for the next course. Food: Average for flavor and taste. I had to send back the fish dish twice as it was undercooked both times, which was unacceptable! The red mullet was not thawed properly prior to cooking it, as it was still tough to cut and undercook. My wife asked for a mocktail but was told they don’t do any non-alcoholic drinks at all, but they do serve Coca-Cola. The rest of the dishes were hit-and-miss. The pre-dessert ought to be a palate cleanser, but we were served cream pudding before the creamy yogurt dessert. Lastly, I was served a birthday dessert but not given any cutlery. The female server asked why I did not touch the dessert, and I told her I was not given any cutlery. They served me a glass of Tokay with the dessert as an APOLOGY for the undercooked fish. We paid $831.60 for two dinners, a three-glass wine pairing, and one Coca-Cola. We expected a much better dining experience, but sadly, this was not the case. The overall experience is below par and really does not warrant a recommendation, let alone a Michelin Star. Today is Friday, September 15, and we were the only table. We started at 6 p.m. and left at 8.15 p.m. I leave it to you to consider patronizing 28 Wilkie.More

Restaurant has retained their 1 Michelin Star for 2023. Been to this restaurant numerous times. Atmosphere was very casual even though it’s a fine dining. Staffs were very warm In hospitality. Current menu is in Summer. Food was great, balanced. The flow of the taste...was wonderful. Won’t regret going there.More

The place looks minimal and extremely elegant, atmosphere is casual and nice. Service was excellent (which for living in singapore is a blessing)! And the main point, the food was simply mind blowing from beginning till the end. Few improvement points we would suggest to...the restaurant: firstly do not to mentioned to customers “it is 10.30, the kitchen is closing, can we serve the dessert now” in such a refined establishment. Secondly, do not take away one customers’ plate before everyone at the table is done. It urges the other to rush eating, which is not enjoyable. Finally on the wine pairing we would have expected deeper explanation to understand the intention, as for us it was good wines, but it did not elevate the experience as much as we would have expected. Overall, except from those details, we would go back anytime with no hesitation at all.More

Deserved a Michelin star ⭐️! However I found the cuisine kind of overly fusion in my view with Japanese , Italian, French and Asian. Lots of ingredients used like uni , raw fish are quite Japanese style of cooking. Caviar is the kind of the...focus where there have offered caviar experience and pairing champagne too. You can chose the chinese breed sturgeon fish or Russian breed. The price is huge with min entry of 30g wild cost you $138. The caviar here is not as saltier type. I am not the expert to comment the caviar quality but is quite good. The fried ebi risotto is out of the world. The risotto is infused by strong seafood flavour and crispy ebi perfectly blend in. The main course we have lamb saddle but I overlooked I have to add $58 more to have the beef as mains. As it shall offer lamb or something else without increase in price. So be careful when you ordered your food. The Omakase price at $228+++ and so need to add the $58 more. The dessert is fantastic. Wide ranges of wine to choose from and you entire 1:1 one too. Great service and very romantic place too.More

An italian restaurant that recently acquired a michelin star. The menu is short, only 5 courses, but had caviar and truffle. Hence the $250 price tag. Every dish was very good to stellar. Maybe only the dessert was underwhelming. My partner replaced his dessert with...2 small scallops and that was an additional $100. They have their own caviar farm and you can have caviar for $100 to $700. Or go crazy with the full caviar range plus dom perignon for thousands extraMore

Food was good but serving was small. Paid around $250 per pax including a glass of wine so I'd have expected better service at such establishments. The non local lady head server stained my new white mask when she poured my glass of red wine....I didn't make a fuss and just asked for a disposable one. We continued to thank her throughout dinner for her service but when we left the restaurant, we asked her to help us with a quick pic of the beautiful Xmas tree. She didn't reply but rolled her eyes and gave a look of annoyance before taking over the phone. Another server had his mask below his nose twice when he served the dishes and explained them to us. Wanted to love the place as it was a special annual birthday celebration with my best friend but we ended up with a bad memory of the night although we enjoyed the small but delicious portions of the food served.More

Let’s speak bout the positives The staff r very friendly Food is amazing we had gone for breakfast/brunch Eggs Benedict was amazing and the Fluffy Pancakes were WOW. There was not much service as we had to grab a table, pick up our table no....placard, pay on the spot and then enjoy the food Water also was self service as we had to walk up to the counter for the same (and that was like more than 3 times) Would definitely recommend for the food tho and again quite pricey SGD $50 for a coffee orange juice and as I said Fluffy Pancakes and Eggs Benedict.More

A memorable Christmas Day Family dinner starting with Dom Perignon Brut Vintage 2008 and assorted amuse-bouches (photo #1). Even the bread and dip (photo#2) were exquisitely done. The French oysters, caviar and BlueFin Tuna with cucumber sorbet were so fresh (photo#3 &4). Followed by pasta...stuffed with capon topped with black truffle, served in capon consommé (photo#5). Main course of Antarctic Toothfish or Lamb loin were both equally delicious (photo #6&7). We were spoilt with 3 types of desserts to go with coffee or tea to finish (photo # 8,9&10). Price per person for such exquisite dinner was S$198 ++More

We arrived at the restaurant and it was completely empty at 7.30 pm, later a group of 6 arrived. I do not like to eat in a empty restaurant as it looks like something is wrong. What is definitely wrong is the price tag. The...food and drinks are very very expensive for what you get and the ambiance. They have only a 4 or 6 course set menu and no a la carte. The wine and other drinks are limited and far too expensive. The food portions were very small, choice was limited, taste ok and not fantastic, even they like to pretend there is a master-chef in the kitchen. If the ambiance is very nice, there is a master-chef in the kitchen and everything is impressive, I don't mind to pay but this is just a empty restaurant at Wilkie road.More

We went to 28 Wilkie for my fiancé’s birthday, because he loves caviars. The selection of caviars was excellent and exquisite! We had great experience with our caviars and oysters, and the chilled Russian volka shots were perfect match! The mains were disappointing. Fiancé ordered...lobster pasta and there were 3 chunks of lobster meat and they were way overcooked. I ordered the wagyu saga...and the steak was overcooked and overly seasoned. What a waste for a beautiful piece of meat. The service was ok, we were neglected at the entrance as the staffs were too busy dusting the bar and checking on the computer. The main hostess was nice but sometimes forgetful. They also put back a bottle of corked wine into their selves, not a practice that I m a fan of. Overall, it was an ok experience. I will go back for caviars and drinks, but will skip the mains.More

Beautiful dishes with great fusion taste. Especially the soba is a fantastic experience for both eyes and taste buds. You get a lot of attention from the friendly staff. Maybe because there were not too many guests that night the dishes came through very fast,...we personally prefer a bit more time between courses.More

Perfect decision to try this for this weekend! Place is quiet and romantic. Really like the ambience. We ordered from the ala carte menu. Somen wjth caviar was so so good! Red snapper was done perfectly. Amazing how chef is able to make the scales...of the fish so crispy and edible! Pasta made specially for my husband who is a vegetarian, was superb too! Memorable indeed!More

Young but talented Chef de Cuisine. This is a fantastic find - lovely decor, amazing food, great service, warm and hospitable. Perfect for private events with a good selection of private rooms/the whole place. Also has a cigar den for the lads!
