Octopussy is actually half octopus half squid. Chilli crab did not come with any tools to eat with no gloves, no bib, no cracker, no pick, no finger bowl for hand washing, no wet towers... We had to ask for bibs and some paper tissues....When we asked for a small bow of water for hand rinsing while eating we were told there were a sink inside the restaurant... At least food tasted good. However for more than 300$ for two, we expected better service.More

Mr. Tsui (徐先生)and his colleagues were a team of good servers! We appreciated! You can sit under the legs of a large crab to dine. We especially liked the signature crab fried rice and the Crab Tree and Evelyn!

The CNY set you crafted was very good. The Yusheng with crab meat was surprisingly good. The black chicken soup was wonderful. The steamed cod fish was nice. The green Mumba crab with mantou was delicious. And the fried rice with crab meat was yummy....The dessert of red n green bean n grass jelly was a treat too. We are impressed with the quality of food. Keep it up. We will be back.More

Long waiting time for our food to be served. Food were all overly salty and with that kind of steep price, you expect certain quality in a restaurant however not what I was experiencing. Disappointing and will not return.

Finally got to try out HolyCrab. Not super wow enough to must-return. Some hits and misses but service was excellent. In order of preference: - OctoPussy (Grilled Octopus tentacle, nicely done and very flavourful though I still feel like it was somewhat fried on the...outside and not entirely grilled) - Jack & The Beanstalk (French beans with minced pork and cured olives. I like that the legumes didn't come soggy) - Crab Meat Fried Rice (simple but got wok hei, with chunks of crab meat) - Chao Tar Bee Hoon (I came because of this actually but it turned out to be underwhelming. I've not tried the original one in JB but a friend who has, said this is far from that) - Open Sesame Chicken (another one that was posted often and apparently one of their must-order dishes, which I didn't get the wow. The chicken was juicy and tender but somehow the sesame coating didn't bring out the umami) - Green Mumba (Green Chili gravy Crab. Crab was fresh, sauce was too exotic and spicy for my liking) Desserts were meh, can skip.More

Nice quality food; it will be ideal if they can be incorporated with some promotion eg. Chope voucher promotion

Crab/ seafood restaurants have a hard time because they tend to favour large group dining. With the current limitation on 2 pax dining in, this makes it very hard for restaurants like Holy Crab. However, my partner and I decided to have dinner with them,...because every previous dining exerience with them was fantastic. And yes, we were once again, blown away by the taste and quality of the food.More

This restaurant is highly recommended! To begin with, the decoration is beautiful and full of creativity. The food is really good. I literally had the best octopus in my life here. The green chilli crab is also finger licking good! On top of that, the...hospitality of the owners has been outstanding. I’ll come back again!More

Second visit to HolyCrab because we had such a wonderful time on our first dining experience here. The crabs cooked in black pepper and broth styles are simply amazing! As always, service is good :)
