Good quality of meats served but I believe that’s also due to the price tags. Service was not that forthcoming here at this branch. Other than that, what can go wrong with good ingredients.

Paid ($84.90++) $100 after gst for the Japanese wagyu buffet, 2 pax total was $202. Couldn’t put anymore of those meat in our mouths, gave 2-3 more chances to the different cuts and even the pork belly/jowl was better than the beef. Not fresh and...tough. Can’t even compare to Heijoen’s buffet ($59.90++). $200 wasted, don’t even want to take the chopped card when we left.More

I need to emphasise that the beef/steak quality is absolutely fantastic- melted in my mouth 😋🤤 The seeweed and garlic fried rice were so appetising. Don't forget to order the tasty hot seafood soup, fresh ingredients for sure!

Has being a regular at Gyu-Kaku at different branch/outlet. But this outlet is totally on a different level. First we are told that it is fully booked and expect waiting time of 30min. There are lots of empty tables in there. So we when for...a walk and come back to wait. It has being like more then 30min with lots of empty table, we proceed to ask again and was assigned a table. Was seated for 10min and looking hard to wave down a waiter to order our food. Food is another long wait. Our rice come just before we finished the meat. Even the meat and the dish cannot be compare to the other outlet. There is absolutely no service here. Would never come to this outlet again.More

We went there for dinner and were very happy with the quality of the meats. There are over 70 side dishes to choose from, ranging from salads, karage, beef tongue, sausages and much more. For $4.40++, you can get free flow of soft drinks (Coke...Zero, Iced Lemon Tea or Sprite) and for $1.00 you can get free flow of hot or iced tea. There are two options for Wagyu Buffet, either Japanese (~100/pax) or Australian (~65/pax). The staff was very attentive and polite, quickly delivered the food and the restaurant was clean and well-maintained with a very cozy atmosphere. The noise levels were very adequate allowing you to have a good conversation at the table.More

I was celebrating my end of year results here. The atmosphere is great, with blinds separating tables giving a sense of privacy. The quality of meat is very good. However, they could improve with the sauces and dippings. They only provided us with sweet soy...sauce and spicy (not really) soy sauce. I feel such great meat deserves exciting sauces to accompany. The squid is good, but not marinated, and dipped in only soy sauce (again) is a little disappointing. However, overall I have a very good impression of it. The drinks (red wine for adults and some lemonade-y drink topped with strawberry) and dessert (sweet potato with ice cream) tasted great. Also appetizer (gyoza) was really nice.More

Went with my family of 4 and was hugely disappointed. Nothing taste good except for one Japanese premium meat. Seafood pancake tasted horrible. Fries was soggy. Staff attitude was ok. Thanks to Riz which was relatively helpful and attentive

This is my 3rd time back to the restaurant and it’s for the beef! The service at Star Vista is better than at Centrepoint. Service staff very attentive and fast.

Located in Star Vista level 2, this is part of a chain across the island. We had the Kumamoto Wagyu Yaki Suki, kurobuta pork collar, beef tongue, harami. Service was slightly slow but meat was well marinated. Enjoyable meal

Gyu Kaku bento set was good, it had a nice assortment of dishes however portions was small. We ordered ala carte spicy soup and a plate of beef for BBQ. The soup was good but the beef was really tough.
