Been here many times and never been let down, the chicken soup is amazing, I’m sure I will be back many times in the future

Love the food here though slightly pricey. I had the ayam penyet which was crispy and spicy. I loved the chilli and would go back for it
Having lived in Indonesia collectively for about 30 years, we went as a family to have some food which was close to the heart. The Sate is the most authentic found in Singapore with a smooth and tasty peanut sauce. The Nasi Campur is also...great, offering a selection of delicious small portions of food including rendang, tempe, sayur, sate daging which reminded us of Bali. Sop Buntut goreng was also delicious and well portioned with soft succulent ox tail and a deep flavoured soup. We had the tempe penyet and perkedel kentang to share which was equally as good. Although pricey by Indonesian standards, for Singapore it is the best valued and tasting Indonesian food by leaps and bounds! If you want an Indo fix, this is the place to go!More
Small place. Only have about 30 stools seat inside and 10 outside. No note to place order. Advance payment. Self collect. There were 9 of us and we were seated outside. The cashier will just screaming for our number when the food ready. But food...not ready at one go. So we need to keep going in and out to collect food. Taste is so so only for Indonesia origin like me. Nothing is great. Quite pricey compare to other indonesian food place. Not worth for a repeat visit.More
Food is very tasty, even though it's a bit pricey but it's worth it. Had the Soup Buntot, Chicken satay and Ayam Penyet. Love it.
Arrived at 2pm and still pretty crowded inside with large groups. Outside seating not great with the singapore heat. Rustic set-up like a food court
In the heart of CBD and Chinatown, this diner serves real Indonesian food with good selections. Friendly services, too. Reasonable prices.
I have always been an obsessive fan of ayam penyet and the crazy spicy chili that comes with it. One of my favorite Indonesian restaurants, Penyet Town, serves one of the best ayam penyets in town. Tok Tok is clearly another one of those. I...discovered this place some weeks back when I colleague brought me down here for lunch. Since then, I have been there at least 3 more times and I always leave with a happy tummy. Today, I tried the Nasi Kuning set and though I realized I’m not a fan of turmeric rice, I still think the dish is a fine one. I also think that food is reasonably-priced and they have some of the nicest and sweetest staff around! Highly recommended!More
For a tenna and change you can have a legit nasi campur and freshly squeezed lime juice. On Ann Siang Hill. In air-con. It's a nice change from the hawker centre. I'd happily go back. Still, it would be nice if there was a little...table service... eh?More
decent indonesian food at affordable prices in the CBD; we had the ayam penyet lunch set which comes with a soup as well, for $8.80 nett (does not come with drinks).
