First visit, was told that the tapas are good. Tried the Jamon bikini and loved the special pulled pork sliders. Reasonable wine by the glass prices. Will be back.

Visited on Jan 17 21, maybe 40% busy. Started off well with friendly service. The Tapas were nice and food was decent. Nice venue. They must have forgot our mains because it took over an hour. Ordered the grilled squid and the ribs. I had...to ask 3 times for the plates, each time not getting any closer. The ribs finally came and the portion was small, 2 ribs... it then took another 15 min and 2 more asks to find where the other dish was- in the end one of the serves came over to ask if we still wanted the dish... Been in SG for a while now, so used to average service - but this was truly embarrassing. They didn’t even issue and apology.More

The service was very slow and bad though there were quite a number of staffs. We asked for water and waited for 10min. We had to ask a 2nd waiter for the water. Later I pour some wine into the water glass so my friend...could try. When we asked for more water, the staff said no because the water glass was dirty. WTF??? So couldn't the staff bring us a new glass of water? Only 1 water glass per guest? They are so-called Spanish-inspired tapas but the food doesnt have any spanish soul at all. Their chefs are local singaporeans. I didnt mind like a fusion mix but the food didnt taste like for spanish or singaporean. We only know we had Rubbish Food there!!! We complained to the staff but he didnt seem to care at all. 1) We had the Galician Octopus which came with the sauce 'mojo picón'? The taste of this sauce basically is strong and over the original taste of octopus. The paprika powder didnt have taste at all. 2) Valanciana paella with a lot of 'aioli sauce' which make the paella damn creamy and the paella didnt taste like paella at all. 3) Prawns al ajillo (menu said cooked with garlic n butter) but didnt taste anything of garlic and butter at all. In spain, they give bread with it so ppl can dip the sauce but the 'sauce' feel just like water and the prawns was like boiled prawns. 4) The pork ribs cost fuking $48 with only 7-8 thin slices of meat. It was served with 'chimichurri sauce' self-made one which didnt taste nice at all. The pork was tasteless and we had to add salt into it. GO THERE IF YOU WANA SUFFER!!!More

Atmosphere was good, open air , at Chijmes basement. Food: ordered tapas, was amazingly ——expensive with small portions. Beer/wines: good selection. However , gentleman at the counter was really unprofessional. It is a shame that reading all the negative comments(surely referring to the same person...as he is at the counter) He is still working and having the same attitude. At the end of the dining experience, same gentleman came to the table , my partner complained verbally and all we received was , “you can not come here anymore of you dont like it”. Nuf said right? I mean, WOW. With all that unpleasant experience, I could commend the sweet lady that took our order , she was smiling and participated with our jokes. She’s funny. It just too bad the place was just overshadowed by the gentleman at the counter.More

Service and food is awesome. Love the outdoor area, very good place to chill with family and friends. Price reasonable. It would be better if they can give more discount on alcohol. 😅
