Tasty ramen. Convenient location. Kids friendly. Nice staff. Reasonable prices. I would go back again. I would visit again.

I used to have ramen here every 1-2 month, today should be My last time visit. The ramen broth is not hot enough, and fried cuttlefish is very oily and not served with lemon wedge as the photo shows, after I asked for it then...I got lemon slices LOL. Might have Michelin star in Japan, but the one in Singapore is under the standardMore
Went on a Tuesday evening 7pm and just had to wait 5min before seated inside for pax of 3. We ordered their 2 signature truffle ramen(1 shio, 1 shoyu based) and 1 tonkatsu broth ramen. They all came flavourful with cha siew meat slices and...very fragrant broth. We ordered add on of eggs as its nt inclusive. Mini clam glutinous rice was served as appetizers and they tasted great and lifed our palette well before we dug into our gyozas and ramens shortly. All in all spent $69 for 2 add on appetizers and 3 ramen and found it very reasonable priced given its 1 Michelin-starred, short queue time and of cos delicious soup broth with TangY noodle and appetizers accompanied, recommended to try!More
This is a famous ramen restaurant from Japan, with Michelin recommendation. The ramen is good, but I can find similar quality in other places here in Singapore
I love Ramen! The place tiny restaurant with just eight tables, speed is of the essence and patrons slurp down their bowls of ramen in the requisite few minutes. The chicken, noodles, vegetables , broth and eggs mixed up to perfection with attention to detail...and quality extend to the consistency of the egg toppings as well as their chewy house-made noodles.More
Was here with a buddy to have dinner... got to say, it’s probably one of the best ramen we ate so far... service is good too!! Keep it up guys!!!
We recently went to this small yet amazing place for a meal. One of the best things I experienced is their speed of service. Within five minutes of ordering we received the drinks and within ten minutes food started to come in. The food here...is very good. Though I am not a "ramen" person, after having ramen here, my thoughts towards ramen changed. Good job. keep it up.More
My kids love ramen, so we decided to try this small place after being recommended twice by friends. It was really delicious, my favourite being their special with coriander, chili oil and coconut i think, it was spicy but not crazily spicy, just nice, and...the flavours reminded me of laksa. The place was crowded on a weekend, we had to take the last seats outside, is was great and service was fast. We will come back for sure!More
I was impressed, I had the signature Shio Ramen dish and a beer for $20 ($24 w/ tax and service charge). It was one of he best Ramens I’ve ever had. Highly recommend for cheap eats.
I was intrigued with a ramen place having a Michelin Star so wanted to check it out. I ordered the spicy pork ramen and was not disappointed. Extremely flavorful, fresh, and might be the best ramen I have ever had. Would highly recommend to anyone...that comes across this chain of four restaurants.More
Most ramen’s I’ve had are quick, simple hearty meals with a flavourful broth, that usually do their job of hitting the spot. So I was intrigued to try a Michelin star ramen to see what all the fuss was about, as there is usually always...a large queue outside. I tried the Shoyu Hamaguri signature ramen with porcini oil and porcini duxelles flakes, it was simply put, very good. The porcini flavour gave the broth a delicate taste that made each spoon enjoyable. The ramen itself was soft, thin and a little firm in texture. The meat of the pork was ok, although it wasn’t as soft or juicy as I expected it to be, perhaps I should have gone for sone fatty pork on the side. We did order a side of gyoza and they were very good too, not overly meaty like some gyoza can be, but packed with veg to balance out the taste. Everything was of course washed down with a nice beer to complete the classic ramen experience. Overall it was good, ok very good, but as the price is a little more than your average ramen so you get what you pay for. I wouldn’t say it was the best ramen I’ve ever had as I like them a little more flavourful and richer, but if you fancy a fancy ramen, give it a try.More
Part of a small chain of Ramen bars in Singapore. The soup bases are very tasty, if a little on the salty side, but the noodles themselves were really nice, firm and chewy. It isnt exactly cheap for what it is but very happy with...the food. Pricey but enjoyable.....More
When in Singapore, I was recommended to Kinjikin Hototogisu restaurants. I was looking for Michelin star restaurants and they have two star ramen dishes, for very reasonable prices. You can choose from many different styles of ramen by my favourite here Shio and Shoyu, but...my friend had crab soup and he loved it. Have to say whichever you chose, you won't regret it. The atmosphere is beautiful with Japanese simplicity, but if you planning to go check availability or make bookings because it can get quite busy.More
The ramen here are not your standard ramen in Singapore. The taste is unique and excellent!! Maybe not for everyone’s taste but we like this place very much and recommend it to all our friends!
This is my first visit to a Michelin starred restaurant. Had heard about it from one of the local food blogs and hence, have decided to try it for lunch. It is really good. Especially liking its gyoza which are well-balanced with crunchy cabbages and...pork meat. Very reasonable priced at $15++ for a lunch set.More
