We went to Boat Quay looking for a dining experience on the water and almost had to leave in an ambulance due to the outrageous price of the meal. We ordered half a chilli crab, a curry and two beers. The bill came to over $400 USD!!!!!!!!! Absolutely outrageous. I questioned the bill. Asked if it was an error. Asked... More

We decided to have Chili Crab for dinner and stopped at the first restaurant we came upon, and were too tired to walk any further. The Chili Crab was excellent, and we had a plate of fried rice, but was shocked to have to pay over $115 for the meal. We had ordered the smallest crab (1 kilo). I know... More

Location is great but what a shame it's occupied by these scammers.8 . Lure you in with a free drink then charge crazy exorbitant prices for completely inedible food. I wish I had read all these terrible reviews before deciding to eat there. Hubby had a tiny plate of fried rice, I had the pineapple chicken and we shared a... More

124 Singapore dollars for a plate of spring rolls, a mixed vegetable dish, sweet and sour chicken, plate of egg fried rice and 2 beers is way too much. OK, it's on the river and the view is good. But my vegetable dish was extremely average as well, although the chicken dish was better. However the price in no way... More

We have been in Singapore for the last seven days, primarily we came for the Grand Prix but also to enjoy the sights and culture of Singapore. We ate from traditional Hawker eateries to the eloquence of Raffles and at both ends of the sprectum the service was friendly and the food excellent until we unfortunately encountered this terrible restaurant.... we made the same experiance as all the other people here. everything's allready said and absolutly true. the dinner (2 beer, 1x fried duck, 1x beef ginger spring onion, 1x egg rice as a side dish) cost us $158. The egg rice appeared on the bill with 25$! never again we'll spend that much money for average food like that!!!

We just ate at this restaurant and I wished I'd looked it up on Trip Advisor first. We were in Boat Quay looking for somewhere to eat and like other reviews here we were seduced by a great location by the river with table spaces on a Friday night when others were full. We should have known better. The food... More

Right on the Singapore river opposite the Parliament this place not only offers tasty food but great atmosphere as well. After walking across the btidge and turning left to follow the river we were met by a lovely lady explaining their menu and offering us a romantic table and a free drink each so we took up the offer. I... More

Please don't go there! It is sooooo expensive, bad food, and they will never let you know how much you will pay. It is not fresh and very bad quality. We paid 250$ for nothing!

Staying in The Quays

Neighbourhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
