Had a wonderful birthday dinner for my brother here as he loves seafood, which are fresh and good sized. We had the seafood platter of crab, prawns, scallops, clams, mussels, dwarf crayfish, quail eggs and corn on a bed of glass noodles (you can ask...for egg noodle instead) and an option of chicken or tom yam (spicy) broth. We went with chicken broth as my nephew does not do well with spicy - and we had a feast! The fried ngoh hiang (crispy prawn filled roll) was deliciously plumb, tasty and not oily. We had the crispy prawn cereal (extra order) as my nephew missed this favourite dish! We polished the meal off with some desserts which on hind-sight; were just too filling but satisfying. Was seated outside the restaurant which was roped off to separate public from wandering too close, but was not ideal as they stood too close reading the menu next to our table. Service was attentive, but the seating could have been better as I had made a reservation weeks ahead.More

Their service is quite slow. Waited such a long time for drinks. Also, their chilli lala - it's spicy outside but bland inside. Their black pepper beef is quite spicy and their ginger and spring onion beef is so tough.

On a cold rainy day, piping hot claypot and sizzling hotplate appeared irresistible. Claypot seafood horfun and hotplate kampong seafood mee goreng by Wok Master looked appetising. Both dishes were very tasty. Soon enough, due to msg sensitivity, I experienced facial cramps, numbness in my...mouth and on my lips, migraine and nausea. And I could not drink enough water to combat the saltiness. Please go easy on salt and msg. Kopi and teh with barely discernible coffee and tea flavours were unbearably sweet. Wok Master is basically zichar fare, nothing fancy, but at unmodest prices. Staff could be more approachable and helpful instead of looking distracted. There is a need to invest in positive customer experiences as anyone who walks in can have high expectations and whether they return depends on how well they are treated besides food quality. During X'mas, we had the best family lunch that i think i've ever had at Wok Master Westgate Branch. The serving crew led by Ah Fang was very attentive, accommodative and professional. They are definitely a huge asset to the restaurant and deserves much kudos....We will definitely be back again soon. Thank You!More

Their zi-Cha dishes were pretty good with a lot of "wok hei". Special mention is their fried rice with salted fish.

The restaurant was able to accommodate large group. Table was set up nicely for my group of 5+3. Food was also good. Enjoyed my experience at the restaurant.

Called in advance to change my reservation earlier but when I reached the restaurant, I was assigned 4 adjoining tables that stretch to the edge/entrance of the restaurant, instead of giving us the longer tables inside the restaurant. Servers claimed that that was the only...table for 8 and those inside are too near to the kitchen. Had to escalate to the supervisor who then changed to another seating after clearing the tables when the customers left. Quite disappointed with the service. Food is average. Reasonable prices. But 4 adjoining tables for 8 pax sharing 5 dishes is an unpleasant experience. There was hardly any space for the dishes, drinks and our own plates and bowls.More

We went in pax of 6 hence was able to order variety of ala carte zi char(wok fried) dishes to try. Lobster soup w rice(duper sweet broth), crayfish xo glass noodle(mild xo taste broth w soft sweet crayfish meat), curry fishhead(fragrant mildly spicy), chilli crayfish(sweet...crunchy fresh), hotplate ginger beef(soft to the bite), claypot seafood(generous serving of mini abalone, scallops, fish slices etc in savoury wok sauce). We found all the dishes very fresh and well executed except that the Priceline is a tad on the higher side but well enjoyed by all of us. Spent $300+ for 6 dishes with drinks.More

Servers there were very friendly and helpful too. There are...also great variety on the dishes type. Overall, my family and I had a great time there.More

Local "zi char" food stall located at #B1-09 Westgate shopping mall. Wok Master offers affordable weekday lunch set @ only $8.80 for one main course + one drink - Check out their promo set lunch menu which incl. Signature Curry Chicken with Rice; Yang Chow...Fried Rice; Sang Min noodles; etc.. The $48-for-2- crabs offer looks tempting and price is surprisingly cheaper than other neighbourhood coffee shops ! Chef's Recommendation are the Crab Bee Hoon or the Salted Eggs Crab dishes..More

Was there for lunch the first time with a friend as a treat for ourselves. Found this place randomly as it was our first time to Westgate mall. Have booked this place using an app after hearing rave reviews from the net. We ordered value...set that costs $38 ++ which consist of premium clay port, special bean curd, 2 bowls of rice and soup of the day which is chicken feet with peanut soup. Later part, we ordered the Har cheong gai which for 6 pieces mid joint chicken wings cost $8 ++. We liked the soup which is flavourful and tofu (crispy outside and melt in the mouth inside). Premium clay pot and the wings were to me overrated. Wings has frozen taste. We ordered 2 drinks as well which were ok. Overall, the atmosphere and service are good. Food are hits and misses. It is quite a good place to bring older folks for Zi char meal with air con instead of coffee shop considering our hot and humid weather.More
