Chill vibe at the new Indo Chinese restaurant with a strong selection in the menu that I will go back for to try more items! Had a good lunch of the nasi campur special and mie goreng with a serving of satay. The innards (i...tried liver and intestine) satay really does have abit of the gizzard aftertaste so i wouldn’t recommend it unless you are a fan. Had the avocado smoothie with chocolate sauce and condensed milk which was half finished by my toddler as it was so yummy. Less sweetened can be requested.More

Love the Paranakan food there! The ambience is also lovely. Overall a must go to for good homely Paranakan food. And it’s reasonable priced.

I feel so bad for not being to write a review sooner. I have been coming here for almost a year now and not once I was disappointed with my dining experience so let me breakdown for you. Food: love the chicken rice set !!!...It is so worth it. This is what I usually eat when I'm there. Cocktail drinks are nice, the alcohol content is not alot but the quality isn't bad either for the price, nice to simmer down with it on a hot day! Ambiance: I think hands down, this is the best feature they have ( well, food first!) They have a very nice cozy chinese pin-up style . Love the radiant bright-coloured high chairs near the bar. It is so nice to see the bartender at work making cendol (haha) and sometimes of course the real deal: alcohol/ cocktails. Service: This completed the trifecta or the holy trinity. I must say this takes the cake. The loveliest staff I have ever met. This is why I'm there almost 2x a month. The warm smiles ( sincere ones too!) The attentiveness, the humility and most of all the sense of urgency when you order. I really hope they will stay and linger for many years to come. I will be genuinely sad if ever they close. Came to this restaurant twice in November. Very friendly service without being fussed over. Food is very good with a big enough menu for a local area restaurant. Sure we will come again.

This is not my first time visiting this restaurant. For the first time, I thought the food was decent but a tad pricey. You really gotta a meat-eater to appreciate this Cafe. In my recent quest to have good one-Bowl dishes, I thought I would...start supporting my neighbourhood restaurants such as this one for lunch. Am generally not a dinner person. So I walked in on a quiet Monday and ordered their signature Nasi Campur. The service was mediocre. The staff were not enthusiastic except for clearing away my plate when I have barely cleared half. The quality of food was so mediocre that I am better off with my char-siew siew yoke rice at any coffee shop. Honestly, i would not pay to come here again. I would like this shop to survive given the high turnover of restaurants in the vicinity. The decor of the restaurant is gorgeous and reflects the culture of the vicinity but that’s about it !More

The pork satay was reasonably priced and was really tasty and tender and quite large too. The roast pork items were decent but there are better ones out there. The kuatiow seafood was really flavouful with a nice wok hey to it. The nanking chicken...was so-so. The cap cai was good value with generous ingredients. The only gripe was that the music was a bit loud so that made talking difficult even when it was half empty. Other than that, quite a good place, and I will be back.More
