went several days ago during a weekday afternoon, on my spouse birthday. service- the male staff was friendly and provided his advice on what to order. Was helpful when we told him that its our first time there. I asked to provide a candle for...the cake that I bought and he did. Food- kindof hit and miss though. Flight- this coffee was strong and delicious from my partner's input 1st flush Hojicha tea- this was a miss for me, there was a burnt taste on it but the tea itself was super light which I didnt expect a Hojicha tea to be Yuzu Meringue tart - good and tasty Cost- total for the 3 items , came to about $30 location- just come out of exit F and walk to the main road. You still have to cross over to the opposite side though.More

Coffees were nice, ordering was a bit tought (F&B staff not yet fully trained). Establishment didn't have any sugar, or sweetner, only a syrup. Which is fine, but you'd think if you were a coffee bar, you might have that as standard floating around..

Food was served fast after order was placed. I ordered a White and Pigcasso. Initially thought that I will be hungry after the sandwich but I was wrong. It was actually filling with the thick pork patty and all the ingredients complemented each other. Thanks...for the great breakfast I had that Saturday morning. Do make a reservation in advance so that you can cut down on the wait.More

Passed by this aesthetic bistro on my walk to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple from Chinatown MRT. The service was top-notch, with the staff being so welcoming and friendly, we really felt at home. The food was great as well, 10/10 for their Tori Katsu...Sando. I loved their avocado smoothie. For those working remotely, they have a Work @Grids Program that allows you to stay there for the whole day with just a $30 minimum spending. A conducive working environment, free wifi and numerous sockets, it’s an extremely reasonable price. Come by on mondays to thursdays for a quieter experience. Currently, they are having a Happy Hour deal that includes cocktails, bar bites, etc. (only on thursdays to saturdays). Would love to drop by again.More

Came here with my wife last week after she insisted on me trying this place out. (She absolutely love the food and service here) And now, I do too. The menu is not extensive but it is sufficient and rather interesting. I truly enjoyed them....Coffee was great! Food portion was big which was very satisfying for me. The service was excellent as we were greeted and served warmly - food and drinks were served very fast too which is another plus point. A simple minimalist cafe that is cozy. Quiet and still even thought most of the tables were occupied. Would definitely return to try out the sake for myself and the desserts for my wife next time as we were too full this visit. And if in need of a quiet place to read, work or just chill, I think Grids make a great place for that.More

This cafe is an absolute gem in the heart of Chinatown! It's easily accessible from Chinatown MRT, exit F, just 2 mins walk away. The food is great and healthy, an asian and western fusion. They serve quality coffee and the service crew is friendly...and helpful. You do not need to worry that you will get chased away halfway through your work as there is a standard 2 hours usage. If you want to stay there beyond 2 hours, there is also a work at cafe programme where you only need to have a minimum spend of $20, a very reasonable price for the food, drink, space, wifi, ambience and soothing playlist. There are power sockets along the walls for you to charge your devices. Aside from the lunch crowd, it's a very quiet space with conducive working environment for those who want to work remotely. Been there a couple of times now. I recently tried the mentaiko prawn pasta on their new menu, and the mentaiko tastes great. They also have the best scones in town! 🤤 The pastries at Grids Coffee are all made in-house! No wonder it taste sooo gooood!!!! And it's very reasonably priced. Will highly recommend all the dessert and coffee lovers to try the cheese cake, scones and of course, the coffee. *drools* Grids Coffee is definitely one of the best places to chill, catch up with friends and to have a tea break in Singapore.More

You cannot complete exploring our Lion City Singapore without visiting Grids & Circles! It is definitely one of the best cafes in town with 3 levels! A cozy and homely ambience with helpful and friendly staff...wonderful simple but delicious foods with many healthy options that...cater to a variety of taste buds...not to mention the excellent coffee. This cafe also sells unique products such as honey from Bhutan too! This place makes you want to stay in there all day long especially when you sit behind the quiet counter watching the busy streets as well as the pedestrians going about their daily life. - the perfect way to look at how the locals go about in their daily lives.More

Came during lunch so staff was a little overwhelmed, but after the lunch crowd dissipated could feel that it became quieter and more peaceful. The food was good and the drinks felt special and nice. Even though I came just for lunch, it felt like...a nice place to chill and study in. Will definitely come back to study with friends.More

I did a random search for nice breakfast in Singapore and chanced upon this cafe. I arrived almost quarter to ten but they haven’t placed the reservation cards on the tables (opens at 9). Small matter. As for their signature course (see photo), I felt...they could be more generous with the pear - so little it was hardly perceptible. I’d prefer the toasts and omelette to be spread horizontally rather than decked like towers. No pepper was offered. I got a lady grey. It came just like that: pot and cup. After request, a cheap plastic stirrer, one packet of raw sugar and milk came. The cafe could install a hot water dispenser on level two so customers don’t need to go downstairs to refill the pot. Decor and furniture were a mix of modern, industrial, minimalist and artistic touches. Some chairs didn’t have back Rests. In the corner next to the window was a mess of wires dumped and clumped. Paint was coming off in many places; also with stains and markings. I suppose this would be a cafe to come at night and you’ll miss all these unsightly things. I didn’t appreciate these vibes throwing on me in broad daylight. Oh, there was an ant on my table - but small matter since only one ant. Would I return? I could pop by for tea if I happen to be in the vicinity. Not likely to drive across the island for another breakfast, though.More

Stumbled on this lovely 3 storey cafe; the 3rd floor is used for events; whilst the 1st and 2nd floor is for consumer’s use and also for those using the space for “office”. The food is generously proportioned, coffee was ok, the ambience lovely with...art pieces for sale on the wall. It’s a clean look with a certain kind of quietness and peace while the road outside is bustling with traffic. The noise can’t be heard inside as it has a lovely soft music. The only minus point is that they don’t serve free water (jfyi-water in SG is drinkable from the tap), and they charge for special milk. I know of another cafe that offers self help water from a filtered container and choice of milk - oats, soya or plain milk with no additional charge. Now isn’t that more enticing?More
