Founded in 2018 by friends, Chef Jeremy Gillon and Restaurateur Anant Tyagi, Restaurant JAG is an award-winning contemporary French fine dining establishment on Duxton Road. Within a year of opening its doors, JAG was awarded the prestigious MICHELIN Star and in 2022, the restaurant received the honour of the accolade for the fourth consecutive year. JAG’s vegetable-centric découverte menu – La Balade du Végétal – takes diners on a culinary journey through ever-evolving flavours of seasonal vegetables and each guest's dietary choices. Curated according to the progression of flavours, dishes are accentuated with wild-foraged herbs from the mountains of Savoie, and rounded off with fine-quality meats and seafood from sustainable sources. The beverage selection at JAG presents more than 230 expressions of wines with a focus on showcasing the beautiful regions of France, as well as an elegant curation of Japanese sakes.

For the first week of the Covid19 circuit breaker, Chef Jeremy offered a take away set menu for 2 for the week. I chose the option of the pumpkin soup for the appetiser, the Wagyu beef for the main and the dark chocolate brownie cake for dessert. Chef Jeremy also offered a selection of ala cartes for those who prefer to plan their own menu. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed savouring the cuisine privacy and comfort of our home. The pumpkin soup was simply delicious and comes complete with slices of pumpkin and condiments. The Wagyu beef was tender and succulent although we felt that the beef jus was a tinge salty. The brownie cake was special and a fitting complement for the entire meal. Really hope that Restaurant Jag will continue to offer these take out selections during the current circuit breaker restrictions on dining in. Really wish to encourage all who appreciate fine dining to give this a try and to show our support during these challenging times.

Our first time here for dinner!
We had the 6 dishes tasting menu which was amazing. Favourites included the Scallops, Corne and Fish dish. Wish that there could be more fish though - but was a good balance! Hope to return in the future, to try more dishes, as I feel Chef Jérémy has more to offer!
Chef himself came out to interact with the guests, after the appetisers are served and before you leave the restaurant as well. Really appreciate such gestures as it makes the dining experience more personal!
Ambience:
Perfect for dates, atmosphere is quiet and good for carrying conversation
Service:
Very good and friendly, would say more interactive than the usual fine-dining experience. Before the mains arrive, they will bring out the herbs, leaves, and teas that are special to the Savoie region for you to ask questions about, and smell.

Amazing 8 course tasting menu. Chef Jeremy delivered an incredible vegetarian menu for myself and fish and white meat one for my wife and each dish was mesmerising.
The service team led by co-founder Anant was also faultless.
Perfect evening where time flew by and we never noticed

Great tasting menu experience at JAG for a friend's birthday.
Surprising (in a good way) flavours and mix of dishes - the beef was a real standout.
Chef Jeremy came out to talk to us regularly and explain his choices, seasoning and herb sourcing - his passion for great food really came through.
Service was attentive, setting was intimate and not stuffy / austere at all. Very warm and welcoming.
Wine list was very decent too and price overall for the quality of experience was not bad either.
Will go again.

Was at JAG with my mom last week. It was our first time at the restaurant and the warm intimate setting was the first thing that struck us. There was a lovely glow within. We were sat by the window which gave us a good overall view of the restaurant. The service staff as well as the sommelier were really attentive and made us feel totally at home. Chef came out of the kitchen on a couple of occasions to check on how we were doing and without doubt , his food with the strong emphasis on veg was stellar and insta-worthy. We would definitely recommend JAG and dinner there would be next on the cards.

The food was absolutely incredible! It was not only delicious, it also was presented like artwork. The staff were very attentive and lovely, and the chef stopped by several times throughout the evening to check we were happy with everything. The restaurant is very small, with only six tables, which feels very intimate and special.
My husband has a few food intolerances, which they catered to and he didn’t have to miss out on anything, which was a first!

Overall, very good, service wise good and attentive apart from one period in the middle of our meal when it tailed off noticeably.
Foodwise a little too heavy on out of the ordinary veggies and herbs which sometimes seemed not to quite go. The proteins in some cases were a bit of a letdown, particularly the Dover sole.
The staff noticed that we couldn't eat part of the dessert as the biscuit base was way too hard. Without being asked they brought a replacement dessert and wine pairing.
Wine pairing overall was pretty good but two of the reds (where we got the last pours from the bottle) were past their best and tasted somewhat stale.
All in all, a decent experience and they obviously care about and understand their products.

I have been once before and I came expecting to be impressed and I ended up being disappointed. All the dishes including the main courses which were described as hot were served cold or at best tepid. As a vegetarian I was excited about vegetable lid dining. I had a great experience at Alan Passard which offers the same. Sadly while the atmosphere and service was great and the food beautifully presented it lacked flavour. For the price we paid I hoped to be amazed, sadly I wasn't.

Could not find a better venue to propose to my girlfriend.
Everything was excellent, the food quality, the presentation, service, timing, wine pairing, portions and atmosphere. The chef Jeremy is a real food artist and very accodomating to special diets, Anant is an encyclopedia of food and beverage :) They only use premium ingredients from mostly France and Japan. The chef helped me to prepare my little surprise for my proposal.

We would highly recommend JAG as this was so far the most comfortable and specially curated dining experiencewe had in French restaurants. They were attentive to all guests and you can feel so through their willingness of sharing their knowledge to you. Chef Jeremy came out from his kitchen twice and had small talk with all the diners. Our attendant Eric and his colleague made you feel comfortable dining throughout with their friendliness and personalised service. Great job to Chef Jeremy and his team!

The chef and the staff are very friendly. They explained each dish, the ingredients, spices used. I like their open kitchen where you can see how they prepare the food.
One thing I like is that the ingredients are seasonal, meaning dishes will be prepared difficultly based on what is available.

Dined at this restaurant twice before. Will be returning soon with our good friends. Have already made our reservation.
If you enjoy quality food and not quantity, this is the restaurant you should come to. Every dish is served in bite sizes and very delicious. You could taste the passion of the chef that has put into cooking the dish.
They also make the best cocktails at the bar which you should not missed. Ask the bartender to recommend.
This is a very well-run restaurant. Service is excellent and attention to all details. Previously there was a problem with our reservation, which is at no fault of the restaurant, the restaurant manager rectified the problem and made the evening very enjoyable for all of us. A big Thank you!
JAG deserves more stars.

We had the most amazing meal here. The food and flavour combinations were truly unique - a 6 course menu highlighting seasonal vegetables with rich, fresh proteins from a variety of locations. A great wine combination was also recommended by the very friendly and professional waiters with chef Jeremy popping out a few times to see how we were enjoying the different courses. An excellent cheese board too. A definite must go to if you are in Singapore.

This was our third dinner at JAG and the soft launch of their autumn menu. We have always loved the taste and texture of their food and the autumn menu was the same.
I particularly appreciate the care they take with their vegetarian dishes. A lot of tasting menus tend to serve vegetarian food in a rather raw way without much taste (likely because the focus is on the meat courses), but JAG has consistently been excellent here. Thank you!
We also appreciate how Chef Jeremy has been consistently innovating his menu to suit the seasons, since we don’t get to enjoy them as much in Singapore. We will be coming back.
