Waited for an hour with my young child and food was not ready, bad attitude and unfriendly staff. We walked away hungry. Restaurant wasn’t even crowded. Never coming back again.

I went on Sunday afternoon with my family. We had to wait a while before we got a table. And when we wanted to order, i held my hand up to get the server's attention. 2 servers saw me but they ignored me. Did not...even acknowledge or nod or say, wait awhile ah. And then I was like, I paid so much for this kind of service? Finally my husband stood up and someone attended to us. I know sometimes servers are busy and overworked to entertain us especially on a busy weekend but I won't expect service if i pay a miserable amount but with menu that cost like this, I better get the service I'm paying for. And then, for an Indonesian restaurant not to have Chendol and say that their gado gado and satay doesn't come with lontong because they don't have lontong that day. The gado gado they just served it without lontong and satay with achar. I felt so shortchanged. Never coming back here again. We also came because we wanted to mingle with our family. They could not even accomodate 5 of us in one table. When Singapore allows 5pax dining/table. Isn't it ridiculous? I didn't speak to my family in the end because we were separated and I was just with my husband.More
BEEN LONGING TO TRY THIS RESTAURANT QUITE LONG ALREADY, so me an my friend went there to try the indonesian food. upon entering to the restaurant the lady gave the middle table, but i asked if we can change to sofa table at the corner,...but instead of stopping in front of me. she just continue walking while talking to me. I'm not over reacting but if the costumer asking question u should stop and talk to the costumer politely. so when she took the menu and brought us to the sofa table,i need to pull out the chair so i can go in and sit. and yes i am fully aware about the distancing but the way she deliver is not so nice. and lastly when ordering the drinks, the other crew also is not so friendly,i ordered iced lemon tea and she said they dont have it. so i asked for their special drinks she just said " JUST CHeCK THE MENU' i mean , seriouslyyy???? you are the crew you should know what is your best drinks. is that the way how they trained??? instead of giving us some ideas about their speecialty, she just say CHECK THE MENU!! that really pissed me off and decided to walk out before anything happen.More
Nice indo food.. dessert Es Teler is the best.. Ayam Bakar Taliwang I don’t feel worth the $28 thou..however the service is really very bad, Long waiting time and I feel that the service staffs is racist towards Chinese.. even though the food is good...I wouldn’t go back no matter how much marketing they do.More
Came here with friend for dinner. Tried the lontong and soto betawi. Drinks markisa juice and jus jeruk tawar. While waiting for our food, they served turmeric drink (jamu kunyit) in single shoot glass. It was refreshing since never see this in sg. Unfortunately the...food came out disappointing. The serving was look great but the taste was far from my standard. Soto betawi, the gravy was diluted and the meat was hard. The lontong gravy not too bad, but the meat hard and lontong even harder. The place quite cozy and some part can see greeneries and rain vortex. Since the place was quite, at least we can sit down and chit chat. The staff were friendly. Hope they can upgrade the food standard. Bill came out around $55.More
Had family dinner for 4 persons. Ordered from appetizer to main course. Service staff was friendly but reserved appearance. Food order arrived rather late, small portion for Sup Buntut, not hot enough and salty. Food quality moderate and when comparison made for same type of...food with other up market Indonesian restaurant. It is expensive to dine in this restaurant. Tend to agree, the view of VORTEX waterfall save the day/night dinning experiences.More
The food at this restaurant is good and you get a great view of the gardens (hence the 2 stars). Service, however, is way below what is expected. My first visit here was for lunch with a group of friends, and we were served by...a lady who was very indifferent and not at all helpful. We put it down to her just having a bad day. My second visit was with some family members who were visiting from overseas. This time we were waited on by a male staff who I believe was the manager, and his service was no better. Very disappointing for a restaurant at the Jewel.More
Had our dinner here and ordered their Gado Gado, Lumpia Goreng, Sate Ayam Madure, Set Nasi Kuning & drinks. Frankly, food was horrible and tasteless. Only think was the view of the Vortex that safe the day.
We had a 12pax Hari Raya Haji lunch at this new restaurant in Jewel. Nice setting with some tables overlooking the greens and glimpses of the Jewel waterfall. Menu was Indonesian ala Bali selections of foods. Had called earlier to make reservations and was advised...to put in our order a day ahead. Everything was served correctly and promptly. Grilled fish was excellent- not too spicy....it was flaky and soft inside, soups were tasty especially Sup Buntut. I enjoyed the Nasi Gurih, a subtle version of the nasi lemak. Gado gado was fresh and peanut sauce was refreshing, not too oily. Rawon n Asem soups were tasty too. The grilled prawns were few but huge and nicely grilled. They had run out of Chendol that day but I had it during an earlier visit and it was a huge serving, utterly delicious. Service was very efficient. Next time I will try the satays!More
We’re not pretty happy with slow service and quality of food 😔 Location - you can find it 3rd Floor from Jewel Mall. Pretty nice location and space with good view Ambience - pretty nice design, decor and very inviting. Menu List - you have...pretty good choices but doesn’t have photos that we can look at. I had to Google it to see how it would like so we won’t be surprised by the food that we’ve ordered once served. So I would it give it 👎 Service - pretty slow as if they don’t have enough staff. It took us few minutes to give our orders and surprising part, it took us not that Long to get the veggie and beef but way longer to wait for our Lumpia Goreng. And took another few minutes to get their attention for the bill. Food Quality - it’s alright. Could’ve been better. When they served us the Nyat Daging and Urap Sayur, we thought that it’s pretty quick but when we’ve tried it. It’s not even hot at all. It’s like you’ve had the food ready to serve from their kitchen and just pre-heat and serve. And we’re surprised it took us more than 15mins to get our Lumpia Goreng that doesn’t even satisfy our palette. Nothing so special with the spring roll which we’ve waited for Long. Price - not worth it for the service and quality of food they’re offering. Would I recommend it after all? Maybe, coz the service during weekdays might be different. Not sure, just saying. But for us - yes it’s good place, great design, good plates and cutlery but service and food not so much....More
