We had a set menu for 2 (Menu B) and it was more than enough. We had crab, lobster, Prawn rice, Fish Soup and a dessert. The food had lots of flavour and the sauce they cook the crab in is delicious. With a few small beers and two cans of coke zero the bill was £360 dollars so £210. This includes a 10% service charge and 9% tax which is in everything in Singapore. You would not get crab and lobster in a UK restaurant for that price so great value. I only marked it down as the sauce although nice wasn’t as flavoursome on every dish but definitely recommend.

Definitely should try cereal prawns!
The seafood fried rice was also great.
The atmosphere was great too.
But cracking the chili crab can be quite messy. The restaurant gives you plastic gloves and wet tissues but I heard that they charge you for the wet tissues so I suggest you bring lots of wet tissues for your dignity.

During my tour of Jewel at Changi airport in Singapore, I found the Jumbo Seafood restaurant with an eclectic mix of crab, abalone, lobster, and shrimp. They have a variety of preparations, including fried, stir-fried, and steamed. Since a was looking for vegetables, I ordered the stir-fried broccoli and the fried prawns in cereal. The restaurant is right off the bridge from Terminal 2.

I expected better. The waitress there who served us barely spoke English, no staff was helping her so it was difficult to get the order right. They told me we need to wait 40mins for the chilli crab, came in 50mins+ the sides we ordered to be served first came last. Saw the table next to us get the fried buns 15mins in & took them 50mins to serve the same buns for us. Mind you, they told us the dining limit time is ONLY an HOUR. Everything really ruined our family experience. Truly disappointed with the quality considering it’s price range.

First ever visit to Jumbo Jewel while in transit. Extremely disappointed the set menu was not available, with a long flight before and after our 7 hour stopover in Singapore, was really looking forward to sampling a banquet of the restaurants famous dishes at a better value price point ($168 for 2 pp). There was no indication on the website or booking that the set menu would not be available other than a generic note saying items and prices are subject to change without prior notice). Aside from this, the Chilli Mud Crab, Deep Fried Marble Goby with Nonya Sauce, and Fried Mini Buns were all delicious. Not being overly experienced with eating saucey crab with our hands, the table was well equipped with disposable gloves, bibs, wet towels, seafood cracker and pick set, and small bin for the shells and messes. We did enjoy our food and experience but it could have been a whole lot more exciting with a full banquet menu of many surprise dishes to rave and post about on social media to commemorate and highlight the end of our holiday before flying home for less than the 2 dishes (and mini bun sides and rice) we ordered costing over $200 therefore somewhat disappointing instead of exciting.

I had a layover at Changi and discovering that Jumbo Seafood had opened a location at the Jewel shopping centre, I decided to indulge in some chilli crab.
I've been to Singapore many times before and usually make the point to have this iconic dish. I know full well that it is an expensive dish but this time I found paying $88++ for the smallest crab (800g I believe) was severely overpriced. I love the black pepper style of preparation but the value received was worth neither the price nor the hype.

The food is always good here except the plain rice is always not piping hot and dry like overnight rice. The service is usually good as well but last Sunday the lady who took our orders is not very honest! Jumbo has a promo for Alaskan crab this month and we were deciding which crab to order, she kept promoting the Alaskan crab. As our group has not tried the dungeon crabs before but i did, we thought of ordering dungeon crabs when we saw the next table's order but she told us they do not have dungeon crab that day. Then, i pointed out to the next table's order and she said that is the last crab and is sold out now. So, we ordered the Alaskan crab instead. After our dinner, when we went out of the restaurant, we saw a number of dungeon crabs in the tank!!! Though the Alaskan is no doubt good too, but she should not have said there's no more dungeon crabs if we want to order!

My favorite Jumbo Seafood branch amongst all the outlets! Service was always excellent & staff are very friendly & attentive to our needs.
Most importantly, the food is great and if you’re wanting to satisfy your craving for crabs 🦀, Jumbo is undoubtedly the place to go! We ordered their award-winning chilli crab & were so happy we managed to get the larger crabs of 1.3Kg! The size of the crab does make a difference in terms of the taste! The claw was humongous & the meat was fresh, sweet & very meaty! The chilli crab sauce went very well with the fried mantou! 😋 It was delicious & very satisfying for the 2 of us!
The deshelled prawns fried with golden salted egg was awesome too!
We enjoyed our lunch very much & will definitely be back again for crabs! 😊

Not enough staff. Staff did not come back to me when I wanted to place an order. Food seems to have been left at their counter for a few minutes before serving to my table as it was not hot, slight warm meaning it was left for a while. Cod fish has 3 bones. Did not have a good experience at Changi outlet. ION outlet service is much better.

Regular customer of Jumbo. Food is always good, though seating time could be longer. We reached 5.45pm, they gave us until 7pm to finish the meal, with the fish and crab taking longer preparation time, we finished right on the dot. Was a little rush to finish the crab since it came last.

Take-away order was made for 2 sets of Chill Crab Meat Sauce with Sliced Fried 'Mantou'. The amount of sauce was less than half of its container as shown in picture. Not too sure if this amount of sauce is considered worth of money on its signature dish.

We were a group of 6 diners. They reserved a small round table for us which was barely big enough to accommodate all the dishes we ordered. It was overall a very cramped and uncomfortable experience. I politely requested twice for a bigger table when another group of diners left, however the staff informed that that table was reserved for the next group of diners (which also happened to have 6 diners). The male staff who replied me twice on this issue was brusque and not very polite, appeared to be brushing me off in a rushed and non-polite way. This is the first time I had encountered such service level at Jumbo, pretty disappointing. All other service staff for that evening were very nice and friendly. Food was great too. I hope Jumbo will train their staff (particularly that male staff) to be more friendly with customers in a polite way, even if they need to reject the customer's request.

Although the food is Jumbo standards, unfortunately, due to them seriously short of staff, we felt very rush and afraid to ask for plates, fork, etc. which make the whole dining experience really stressed. Please add more staff if you want to maintain Jumbo reputation.

We transferred via the Changi Airport. We entered the Jewel center and entered Jumbo which we saw the people long queue for the food there last time. So we booked beforehand and hope the food could surprise us. The crab and the prawns were very fresh but the taste not too much different with the normal Southeast Asian restaurant. Too much fry made us fell hard to finish the meal. After all just normal restaurant. Won’t try next time.
