I was left with the best of impressions from Gattopardo, and think it thoroughly deserves 5 stars. I enjoyed it much more than some of the restaurants in the top20 of tripadvisor for Singapore. The service was excellent. Staff was attentive -but not too much-, friendly, and knowledgeable. The chef, a Sicilian native, was also friendly and introduced himself to... More

We had an amazing meal in the private dining room upstairs. Everything from the food to the staff were excellent. The lobster ravioli was a particular favourite of mine. The selection of desserts were mouthwatering and I am not a big dessert person. This restaurant is well worth a visit.

Visited this great restaurant recently with friends and had a wonderful meal. The staff were very attentive and guided us through the menu. The standout dishes were the wonderful ravioli with generous shavings of black truffle. While it has a seafood theme I was told by my wife to have the Wagyu beef and let me tell you it was... More

We had the pleasure of dining in this fine Italian/Sicilian restaurant. There were a group of us in the private dining room upstairs. We started with a selection of starters - highlight was the the chargrilled octopus followed by a seafood pasta with sea urchin. On to the main course - I would recommend the wagyu beef with chargrilled corn.... More

Amazing Sicilian dining experience. The food quality and service is 2 star Michelin standard at least. I thought I was back in Taormina with the decor and the quality of the food and wine. The chef and staff were excellent and the combination of flavours was sublime. There is an excellent Asian twist but a true Sicilian taste with Sicilian... More

Our first courses from the set lunch menu had to be sent back as they were stone cold in places. This is normally a sign of poor microwaving. All the food was average served by a waitress with attitude who refused to write down the order. The whole place felt complacent, couldn't care less and there was no atmosphere at all.It is not cheap... Dear Epicure134, Thank you for your feedback. It is with great concern that we read your review. We have investigated the issue with our kitchen and operations team. During your lunch, the service staff noted your feedback that the appetisers were cold, and immediately replaced them. Your orders were taken by our assistant manager, who has been trained to memorise... More

Early evening dinner, had the tasting menu with wine. All courses were well presented, fresh and good to eat with sensible portion size. Staff very pleasant and competent.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
