Nice food and attentive staff. The food portion is great. We went during weekday for lunch. It wasn’t too busy and we didn’t have to wait long for food to be served.

Excellent service every time. Ace at the bar is just Ace! Thanks everyone another lovely meal. It’s rare to get this level of service consistently in Singapore so we love coming here. Thanks to all the staff!

We are long time visitors but were seconded to Brisbane for 2 years so missed our Friday Date Nights. Our waitress was accommodating and very helpful and looked after us personally despite having a number of tables and things to do. We have always felt...welcome. Time and waiting staff have come and gone but the ethic has never changed. You want quality - good service, ambience and good food, it comes at a price and I never complain because it is worth the experience - especially during these difficult Covid timesMore

Ambience is good. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Ordered the caviar, lobster roll and pan seared foie gras. Can only find fault with the foie gras as it is not seared to our liking. The rest of the meal is great.

Unlike many locally owned French restaurants who charges exorbitant pricing, db Bistro maintains an honest pricing and you get good French fare. A 3-course weekend brunch goes for $58, which is the same price I paid at Voyage for a starter ! The beets and...goat cheese salad was generous with both, and it is a nice change not to be able to count the number of beetroot cubes. The trout was prepared very well with a simple Provencal tomato salad. Only downside was the French toast was made with brioche like so many places here so it is overly sweet. If it is a fresh brioche, it isn't pain perdu really but other than that, it was well made with a nice topping of Chantilly with berries.More

The ambience is great. The food awesome. Our first visit - we loved every thing - the ala carte foei gras, the set meal with grilled tuna, mushroom soup n chocolate crepe. The only thing not as great was the a la carte lobster rolls....Burger and lobsters does it better - the bun at burgers n lobsters is so fluffy n amazing. And there’s a lot more lobster. This one was over flavoured and a tad too spicy for my taste. I just wanna taste the lobster. But everything else including the bonsai cocktail n the geisha cocktail were perfect. Second time was dinner. We ordered grilled fish not tuna and I ordered the set meal with the cabbage n duck salad, desert (can’t remember what it was but it was delicious) and chicken for mains. Portions were big so we should have shared. The duck salad was delicious. The chicken was too much and too over powering. Wasn’t a fan of it. The bonsai cocktail we ordered had way more ice than the first time we had ordered it. So after five mins it got really watered down, Third time we went was yesterday (note our visits were all within three week ) - ordered a different gin cocktail, a set meal with fish mushroom soup and chocolate moisten lava cake desert. Hubby ordered ala carte with red wine a sangiovese and a prime beef steak with top up foeigras. The gin cocktail came with way too much ice which made it taste diluted very very quickly. So that was a downer. The steak quality was amazing. We ordered medium done. The accompanying salad was great in flavour. But the steak felt a bit dry. Perhaps we should have ordered and paid extra for sauce on the side. Husband likes his meat taste n is not a sauce guy so we didn’t. But when I took over to taste the steak I loved the crunch the seasoning the meat fresh flavour but felt it was a tad dry after a while. The first - grilled trout was perfect! The seasoning flavouring n garnish were perfect. The soup n desert were awesome. The foegras that accompanied the steak compared to the ala carte one was underwhelming- the garnish the sauces the crushed pistachio - all the was what made it great. It was a plain foegras otherwise - which made it boring. The staff were incredibly efficient and friend. The bread at the start was delicious n immensely interesting variety. The service impeccable. Don’t order chick and meat - they excel in their seafood! That’s been my experience. If you order steak get your favourite sauce on the side in case like md you find eating spoonfuls of meat a bit much after a while. The wine was delicious yum! The cocktails need to be consistent well balanced.. don’t ignore the eyesMore
